I never said there wasnt a difference in BB weights being shot, as I stated above, heavier objects do carry more energy.
The numbers may seem like solid proof, but we are never under perfect conditions, countless variables need to be included in order to make an acurate representation. |

I never said there wasnt a difference in BB weights being shot, as I stated above, heavier objects do carry more energy. The numbers may seem like solid proof, but we are never under perfect conditions, countless variables need to be included in order to make an acurate representation. This is true. There will always be windage and things like that. Also, my main assumption was that impact time was constant. How the BB hits you and what it hits on you will determine how much the shot will hurt. Edit: Also, air resistance will be acting on the BB's. The .5 gram BB has more inertia than the .2 gram BB and will be effected less by air resistance. This post has been edited by m1a1thompson: Apr 29 2006, 11:43 PM -------------------- My philosophy: If you're going to go cheap, get a springer. If you're going to go for around $100-$150, get an MPEG or a GBB. $150-$200, better GBB and an extra mag or an MPEG with some accessories. $200+, look at a nice GBB, high-quality AEG, or a sniper rifle (if you are 100% positive you want to be a sniper). If you're going to look for a used gun and remain stock, take 90% of numbers above (Note: I do not suggest going with used weapons except for with the higher-priced items. Make sure you trust the person you're buying from). Is it good? *Borrowed from BattlePriest:
