I'm getting the TM M16 A1 from Den Trinity at the end of the summer. I'm getting one of the package deals, so it comes with a 8.4v 1300 mAh battery.

Now with the questions:
Is the battery a NimH or Nicd? I was looking through here, a think that I read that it was a NimH, but I'm not sure.

Second, is THIS CHARGER any good? It says that it is for NiMH and NiCd batteries so...

Third, is the Marui discharger fine to use to discharge the battery?

Fourth, do you need to discharge the NiMH's? I thought I heard somewhere that you don't need to? Then again it could have been the NiCd's or I could be imagining things.

Lastly, I have to charge the battery all the way to first time right, but after that I can charge it only partially? Like if I just wanted to plink for a half hour, I could charge it half way or something, right?

And since I'm already posting, what the :cens is the difference between the A1 and the VN? Is it just that the VN has a straight mag and the A1 has a curved one? I'm asking cause the VN is almost $30 higher on Den.
