I have been using an ASGI brand 6.03 barrel, and I am wondering if it is up to par with prommy, edgi, etc.
If not would it be worth buying a better barrel, or would the change be small? -------------------- ![]() |

I know it sounds like a big difference but it honnestly isnt much better. I got one when I first started my vsr project, I immediatly switched to an EdGi because the ASGI one did not satisfy me at all. Because of that I would say that they are not up to par at all, and given the chance to redo my actions I would simply go with either the stock barrel or and edgi or a pdi. I have the ASGI Masamune 6.01 and I'm very satisfied. It increased my velocity and gave me tighter groupings, compared to the standard BAR-10 barrel. I never tried a prometheus or any other brand in my BAR-10 so I really can't say much about them. I'm very satisfied and I got alot of bang for my buck.
