Hello, I have a few guns that require fixes and a few that require upgrades. I am asking for skilled professionals or even those who know what they are doing. I will negotiate pricing for such fixes and upgrades, but I will not pay obscure amounts since my pal Nate can do a good job for free. Nonetheless, he is 14 and does not know electrical work very well. I myself am busy with college interviews and medical school interviews (I am a senior in high school). I am sorry if I ask any stupid questions, or ask too many questions; I just want my setups to be perfect. Feel free to post any helpful advice because that will be very much appreciated. JG AUG H-BAR

This gun is a great support weapon that needs a bit of a boost. It has an m160 motor, KN tightbore, TM hopup, TM bucking, phantom kit, Action titanium coated piston, bipod, and a guarder m120 spring. I am unsure, but I believe it also has a new set of gears, and spring guide. My main problem is the battery will not fit. It cannot function without a 9.6 volt battery or higher. I wanted to connect it to a reliable mosfet with deans as well (I have the deans). I have a 7.4 lipo but I do not know if an 11.1 is needed. I also have a TM AUG body, gearbox, and upper receiver, but the receiver will not fit on the JG AUG (which has a receiver with a built in scope). Thank you and contact me if interested.

Here are my questions:
1) Should I keep the built in scope receiver or put the TM receiver on (which has a scope mount)?
2) What size spring is good for a support weapon?
3) Should I get a new cylinder, cylinder head, piston head, or other parts (if so which)?
4) Would speedy gears make a difference?
5) Which mosfet would be best for this gun?
6) How is this setup?

TM AUG

This gun requires you to play God. Well, not really but you need to basically resurrect my TM AUG which has a new TM gearbox, used TM body, and either my JG or TM upper receiver. Your job is to put those pieces together so I don't blow my brains out from frustration trying to do it myself. If you can do this right, I will be happy to send my other AUG to you for work (the AUG above that needed a mosfet and receiver fix). Thank you and good luck!

Real M4 with Systema parts

This M4 is mainly made of real U.S. M4 parts along with an unknown motor, KWA reinforced piston and piston head set (better than Systema), Systema cylinder, Systema gears, and other Systema parts. I got this from a friend but it has no hopup or barrel and I wanted to know what a good bang for my buck would be (hopup, bucking, and barrel) as well as anyone selling. It used to have deans but the wiring broke and requires a mosfet and lipo. I need someone who can also fix the compression which is off by a lot. Lastly, it is a CQB and the cylinder may be the wrong size. Thank you and contact me if interested.

Here are my questions:
1) Is it better to keep it 363mm or change to a CQB 300mm?
2) What is a good speedy motor to use?
3) Would speedy gears be worth it?
4) Is front or back wiring better?
5) What spring would be optimal for speed?

G&P M14 DMR

This has a Prometheus tightbore barrel, KWA hopup bucking, G&P hopup, Prometheus air nozzle, Guarder SP140 spring, Guarder gears (only one fits), and a G&P M160 motor. Everything else is stock. What I need is someone to help fix the wiring and install my AB mosfet. Also, I need it rewired to deans. And lastly, the selector switch is broken and needs to be replaced (I just need you to install the replacement I will buy).

Here are my questions:
1) What spring guide is best for a DMR?
2) How can I get the gears to fit (the Guarder gears don't fit in the bushings)?
3) Is the AB Long mosfet needed over the normal AB mosfet (from extreme-fire.com)
4) Should I upgrade the cylinder, cylinder head, piston, piston head, or other parts (if so which)?
5) How is this setup?

Thank you and I can really use advice. Besides fixes and advice, I wanted to buy wiring, barrels, hopups, buckings, lipos, mosfets, and motors. Thank you and anyone interested in working on my guns will be paid immediately (or even traded parts such as my KWA m4 (parting it out), rail systems, TM AUG body, TM AUG gearbox, WELL L96 with upgrade kit, MP5 with G&P gears, UTG Trishot, WE Dragon, or other guns and parts I have).

3. Which of these cylinder sets are the best (if they really differ): Prometheus Bore up, Guarder Bore up, Guarder Cylinder enhancement, CA Bore up, Element bore up, Systema Bore up, Systema Speed set, or Systema Energy set?

4. And are bore up kits different than cylinder enhancements?

5. Does the Systema speed cylinder set (or any speed set) actually enhance speed or is it better to get a bore up kit instead?

6. Is it alright to mix and match different parts in a cylinder (piston head, cylinder, cylinder head, air nozzle, etc.)?

7. Is there a noticeable difference between PDI, Prometheus, or Edgi barrels?

Ok so I found most of the answers and correct me if I am wrong:

Usually 16 AWG but 14 AWG can occasionally fit but is usually unneeded

I couldn't find much, but they are too hard to find and I like the GT40000 the best anyway

Bore up kits increase the volume of air pushed out (increasing fps by about 20 not to mention better compression), but cylinder enhancements only reduce friction and increase compression.

5. Does the Systema speed cylinder set (or any speed set) actually enhance speed or is it better to get a bore up kit instead?
Still unsure

6. Is it alright to mix and match different parts in a cylinder (piston head, cylinder, cylinder head, air nozzle, etc.)?
To an extent, but I will ask around when I make a new setup.

7. Is there a noticeable difference between PDI, Prometheus, or Edgi barrels?
Still unsure (but I hear there is really no difference)

Still unsure

Infected are just as good, but I don't know how good other mosfets are (homemade or made by an airsoft tech).

10. Does it matter what AWG wiring you use and if it is silver or copper?
16 AWG with silver wire has less resistance.

11. How are Prometheus POM piston heads (worth the money or are others better/just as good)?
Still unsure

Anywhere from 20-50+ because fixed compression can add 5-30 fps, bore up kits can add 10-20 fps, and a tight bore can add 10-20 fps.

Now I just need answers to a few questions:

For details on AWG, go here: cheapbatterypack.com Start making yourself up a custom battery, and at a certain point you'll be given all the wire options they offer. Click on "specs" for any one, and there will be some dimenions and other useful information.

It gives the Amps and diameters that are associated with them. Thanks, but wouldn't 12 AWG not fit in any gun? And if 12 AWG is about 2mm thin and 18 AWG is 1mm thin, does that mean the resistance is double for 18AWG?

I talked to iloveco2 and, correct me if I am wrong, but I found out that 16 AWG is great and really is depends on the battery and how much power is being transmitted (if a lipo is used, 14 or 16 AWG would be needed for better results since 18 AWG is for 25 amps or lower). Anyway, as the questions, I found some answers (correct me if I am wrong):

Guarder seems to be the best bang for your buck with the same results as the other brands. The bore up gives you better compression and more air for at least 15-25 more fps, not to mention increased fps with better compression. Also, Guarder is pretty cheap.

But does anyone know if the Element bore up kit is any good?

3. Does the Systema speed cylinder set (or any speed set) actually enhance speed or is it better to get a bore up kit instead?

Unknown

4. Is there a noticeable difference between PDI, Prometheus, or Edgi barrels?

Unknown.

I think m120 is safe with 16:1 (max of m130), but 13:1 probably needs a lower spring.

However I am still unsure of which springs perform the best with these ratios.

Unknown.

7. How are Prometheus POM piston heads (worth the money or are others better/just as good)?

It is good, but maybe not worth the money. I do not know and will not be using it since bore up kits use a different type of piston head.

7. Is there a noticeable difference between torque and speed motors when paired with an m130 or lower (granted they can both pull it)? And does anyone have the RPM specs for the G&P m120, G&P m160, Matrix Turbo, Matrix Magnum, AIP HS-50000, Element Turbo, or Element Torque motors?
