For any of you that may be interested, I have decided to sell a couple of our airsoft websites. I thought I would list them here and see if there is any serious interest out there. I wanted to first make these available here to you guys who actually have an interest in ASF and our partner sites before making these available to anyone else with corporate interests.

AIRSOFTFORUMS.COM
AIRSOFTFORUMS.NET Both of these are currently on forward to airsoftforum.com but if you're interested, you can have both of those domain names for $1,500 (price recently reduced).

AIRSOFTSPECIALISTS.COM is currently a questions and answers site but you can change it around to be what ever you want (airsoft related of course). It gets good traffic and could make a good airsoft website for the right person. Right now the website is averaging about 150 visitors a day to it with virtually no advertising. How much would you spend in advertising to achieve that if you had to start from scratch? I'll take the first $1,800 (price recently reduced) on this one but you better act fast because I may change my mind and keep it.

AIRSOFTFORUM.NET - I have changed my mind and the chat room is no longer for sale right now.

CHATAIRSOFT.COM - is one of our community sites that I setup recently but just don't have the time to manage it. It has been a forum, a chat room and a blog site over the years and thought it would make a good community site last fall when I installed the very cool software that is currently on it. But as I said, I just don't have the time to manage it. You can keep it as it is or feel free to do with it as you wish. Chatairsoft.com is also averaging around 200-250 visitors a day and the first $2,800 (price recently reduced) takes it.

If you want more than one of these websites, I'll make you deal - send me an offer but understand there is no financing. I might be interested in trades if you have something of value. The winning buyer / buyers will have complete ownership of website/s and domain names for the website /domain name in question to do with as you wish once payment is made.

PS, I'd thought I'd explain why I'm doing this because I know that is going to be asked 500 times if I don't... #1, I have some major expenses that I need to take care of with regards to fixing ASF here with all the down times. The database needs to have someone go through it and fix what ever is causing the constant crashing. #2, I need to upgrade the server to the tune of $50 a month that I just don't have nor can I afford to spend. #3, the economy sucks and I seriously need to free up some cash to stay above the water.

It was suggested by 2 people that I put up a "donations box" or "donation meter" here so that you guys can donate, but my question to both of the guys that asked me about this was, "What's wrong with the current 'We Need Your Help' link at the top of the board right now?" ...you see the thing is, most people just don't want to donate (or at least I can't seem to figure out why). Don't get me wrong, some of you do and have which we very much appreciate, but the majority of the members do not and at $400 a month, (the current monthly server bill) - I cannot spend anymore money on the database or server with a simple one-time donation. I need to have a commitment or subscription in order to count on that money for upgrades or repairs. ...not a big deal if you don't donate, but I just can't afford to spend money I don't have right now in a faltering economy.

I think the idea is that someone can turn it INTO a nice, ad profiting website. The idea is that it is a good name for a website, and is something desirable to use as a base for a nice web page.
