Yeah, my gun messed up on me after only about 100 rds, but it got fixed and is perfectly fine and has an even higher ROF. I had to use another gun. THe drum mag feeds fine, it's just at the beginging, you have to wind it for a couple seconds before the bbs go up. The new hero arms drum mags are great, but I heard from someone who got the STAR drum mag that the STAR drum mags suck and break quickly.

I must say that that wood looks VERY nice
looks a lot like a reall AK actually: ![]() (bad pic) I don't know because I haven't disassembled an AK AEG, but could a C-Mag wire fit inside the receiver. I doubt it could but it would look pretty cool. |

nice gun..my brother's looked just like that but he converted it to an RPK which im getting the idea that you tried to do?? if so I suggest getting a suppresser to make the barrel longer and so the gun looks right ( with all the stuff the barrel looks to small)..I have the same drum mag on my slr ( I love the thing...it self winds which is nice...)

Well, I just noticed this and that people asked about the internal upgrades and I never anwered it.
If anyone still cares, it has a Systema FTK M120 Spring Prometheus 6.03 Barrel polycarb piston and maybe some other stuff, but this is what I remember I still want to put an RPK kit on it, but I'm low on money, so if I do, I'll post pics This post has been edited by CookieMonster: Aug 2 2006, 03:59 PM -------------------- Click this thread for more info about my AK

Here is my TM AK47 with a G&P woodkit, hero arms drum mag and a real bipod With the bipod down ![]() With the bipod up ![]() THe bipod folded ![]() AK with 9.6v battery, 3 G&P midcaps, TM high cap and sling ![]() When you run with it and use the normal not-drum mags and have the bipod up how do you hold the front of the gun with the hand that is not pulling the trigger? It seems like having the bipod hanging down all the time could mess with your aim and the gun's balance when your holding it. I think the bipod should fold up differently. That wasn't me saying that gun is ugly or anything like that, it is kick butt. I love it. I'm working on a MAG drum mag, G and P metal body, precision barrel, Guarder FTK, some custom grips, and stock, to make it look like a AK 74 without the ugly suppresor type flash hider.

were did u get the drum clip I cant find one for the ak and were can I get a bipod like that but thats not so much money I got mine from WGCshop.com, all of the AK drum mags are there. There is also the MAG and STAR one, not sure if the MAG one is good, but I used my teammates STAR one and it was pretty good, it winded by itself, but it just didn't hold as much as my Hero Arms one. The bipod is actually that I got from a teammate who bought it at a valley forge gun show in NJ(I think). It is actually for a real AK, but fits fine for an airsoft gun. -------------------- Click this thread for more info about my AK

Nice gun. I like the wood kit. I've seen a video about a guy that modified his AK spetznaz to recoil the charging handle everytime he shoots a BB. It looked sooo real. You should do that when you have enough money. The police might even think you have a real AK-47!
