I bet many of you are asking what is parkour?
Parkour is the art of getting from point A to point B as fast as possible, usually in an urban environent. Parkour is also called free running or urban free flow. So what does this have to do with airsoft? Have you ever tried shooting at a skilled free runner? It is nearly impossible (unless you use your gun as a bb hose) I share the parkour passion with few airsofting friends and one night, after 2 redbulls and watching jessica alba in Into the Blue (she's so hot right?), we came up with the idea of parkour airsoft. I'm not going to teach you guys parkour here because everyone developed their own unique style and it's really hard to explain, but check out YouTube for parkour inspiration. Once you've got the parkour going, all you need now is a gun. And so you ask, how do I do a cartwheel with an m249? You can't just use any old gun for Parkour Airsoft. What you need Is a light weight nimble weapon that you can hold with one hand. I prefer the mp7 but my friend has managed with an m4 shorty. Another good gun to use would be an mp5k. Remember, I'm just putting the idea out there because some might get hooked on this idea right away. Here are Some cool things that you can try. Diving and rolling into cover. Getting to another bunker by flipping over your present one and running low and fast. Zig zagging and confusion (best done by a whole group) - very effective when fast. Navigating the airsoft course in a parkour stlye manor. If your really daring, attepting a close quarter kill by backflipping out of a tree and firing in midair. I'll keep adding to this (getting tired of typing on my iPod touc) Oh and for all you legal bastards : DISCLAIMER I am not to be held liable for any injuries or deaths caused by the attempt of the stunts that I have mentioned above. Attempt parkour airsoft at your own risk etc... Etc... -------------------- ![]() |
