I have a 1500 mAh battery that says that it should be charged at no higher than 600 mA. However, being stupid, I did not read the label on the battery and charged it several times at 3000 mA. I realized something was wrong because the battery would get pretty hot. The charger also says that it only charged it to ~1000 mAh the last time I plugged it in.
So, my question is: do I need to buy a new battery? Has any lasting damage been done? Also, what should I set the "Peak V" setting to? Its default is 5mV/C. Thanks. |
