Ok, so everything has to be "environment friendly" these days, or at least labeled as so for a couple extra bucks, even BB's it seems. I'm new to the airsoft world, and have only been playing for a little over a month. Me and a buddy got ourselves some guns, I chose to spend all the money on one good gun, he chose to spend all the money on several cheaper guns. Either way, I was the first to go buy some BB's that didn't come with said guns purchased. A nice 5,000 round bucket from Wally World. Then when we found out they glow in the dark and we had the time of our lives. Needless to say we needed more BB's. He went out and bought a bucket this time. He grabbed the same bucket, only he wanted some bright orange ones. He didn't realize the bucket said "bio-degradable". So anyway, I run out of mine and ask for some of his, he tosses me the speed loader and I start filling my mag only to realize there's all this orange junk flaking off everywhere. I check the speed loader, and it's almost painted orange now. That's when he informed me of his "accidental" purchase. I told him there was no way that was going in my gun, cause I figured it would gum stuff up in the gearbox.
Now, I could argue all day long as to how a regular BB is just as much degradable as an "environment friendly" one, but that's not why I'm here. My point is... I've been looking for some fields to go play at and I've noticed they have a rule saying you MUST use bio-degradable BB's. So my question is, do they make one that doesn't fall apart before you shoot it, and that is actually still a good BB for a reasonable price? Or are Bio BB's just bad news? Oh, and his guns did jam when he used those BB's. Cleaned it out, used regular BB's, never happened again....yet -------------------- -----------------------------------------

That deal that you got, you didn't really save money. It seemed as if it was full priced to me
