Packing also featured a nice layer of bubble wrap for the bbs to rest on. Other companies usually just put them in a box. Bbs were shipped via Fedex and arrived quickly. Props to No Limit.

BBs-

Here is the bag off bbs. It contains 4000 pieces of white plastic fury. :D The construction of the bag is very nice and durable, I won’t have to worry about it ripping or tearing. The bag states,


I cracked four bbs in half to see if they contained any air bubbles and I’m happy to announce that there are none. The weight should be very consistent due to the lack of internal air bubbles. Since the hop of the bbs is consistent, I would assume the weight is as well. One thing I did not like, however, is that the bbs were split in half easily. Thinking that it might bio bbs are weaker, I tried splitting two TSD .26 bios open. It took a lot more force to crack the TSDs open.

One thing I noticed while examining the bbs is that the majority of the bbs had some kind of external imperfection. As shown in this image, there is an “indent.” To be fair, my TSD .26s have injection nipples and indented rings around them, so it might just be that bios are harder to make. Ben at No Limit has examined his BB King bbs as well (non bio .2s and .25s, as well as the bio .25s), his also have these imperfections. Maruipro and Dr. Duck from ASF also have found these imperfections. The imperfections do not seem to affect performance though, they shoot very well. More on that later.


As stated on the bag, these bbs are highly polished. They are very slick to touch. Most people seem to think that polished bbs are good for your gun. In my experience, all the polish does is reduce friction on the hop up bucking (not a good thing) and dirties up your barrel faster. This is why I wash my bbs. I can’t blame BB King for polishing their bbs because almost every high quality bb manufacturer does this process as well.

Performance-
These bbs are very consistent and give great groupings. I would say they shoot better than my G&G .25s (non-bio), KSC .25s (non-bio), and TSD .26s (bio). Keep in mind that bbs will perform differently in different set ups. Some bbs will shoot great in stock barrels, but poorly in tightbores. The BB King bbs seem to shoot well in both my stock SRC barrel and my Edgi 6.01mm tightbore. I have shot roughly 1000 rounds of the BB King bbs through my Edgi 6.01mm 363mm barrel and had no jamming or any other issues. Accuracy is fantastic. 6.01mm barrels are usually the tightest you will find in AEGs (on average), so yes, they work fine in tightbores.

After 400 rounds through my stock SRC barrel, (not sure of the diameter, it looks like a 6.05mm barrel to me, just a guesstimate though) I examined it for sludge build up. While there was a decent amount, there was not as much as I expected. They definitely do not leave as much sludge as Goldenball bbs do; I’d say the sludge build up is about average. My Edgi barrel seems to remain fairly clean after a few hundred rounds as well. Very impressive.

I was using a chair to support myself, but I'm still pretty shaky.....

It might appear that the bbs are crappy due to the results. However, this is not the case. It is definitely my weapon, nature, and my poor aim. While shooting on a calmer day with my set up near perfect (as good as I can get it), the bbs were shooting much more accurately. While looking through my scope, the bbs were flying in a tight group, but when they reached the target’s area, they spread out a great deal, leaving me to believe wind or another factor is affecting the bbs. The wind always seems to be stronger by the tree. (probably because there isn’t much to shield it) I’ve also heard of thermal updrafts affecting accuracy and it is definitely warmer by the target.
Possible errors for the results: silicone grease in the bucking, slightly ripped bucking, the bucking itself (it’s the black sharkfin madbull one…..), wind, thermal updrafts (?), my aim (or lack of), and scope is not sighted. (G36K scopes for ya…) I was not aiming in the same spot everytime. I was compensating for wind and my scope. (which partially explains the erratic groupings)

That being said, these bbs seem to perform better than my non-bio G&G .25s, which is consistent with Maruipro and Dr. Duck’s results. I would have done a G&G .25 test, but I ran out of them. I’ve always had some accuracy issues with my G36K, so do not get the idea that these are poorly made bbs. My G&G bbs were shooting worse the day of the test.
Long story short-Biodegradable BB King .25 bbs perform excellently, other factors are to blame.

Closing comments-
I was pleasantly surprised at how well these bbs perform. Groupings are noticeably tighter and the fps is a bit higher compared to the G&G .25s. Range might be a tad superior as well. External quality leaves a little bit to be desired, but I haven’t noticed any issues with the imperfections. (my barrel isn’t getting scratched or anything) They run smoothly in tightbores, feed great, and overall just perform excellently. I highly recommend No Limit Airsoft and the Biodegradable BB King bbs. Thanks again Ben!
