Owning a few Systema PTWs I have always missed having the burst feature in my normal AEG's, so when I got the opportunity to review this product from our own member Kong I went for it. First of all from talking with Kong I can tell he is a nice easygoing person who cares about his customers, he shipped me the Burst Wizard the same day and I got it 3 days later ( Im in FL).


The main feature about the burst wizard is you can plug it in and use it instantly, unlike other competitors where you have to open the gearbox and risk damage. So as soon as I could I plugged it right into a AEG and it worked , it automatically gave it fluid 3 round burst , the same quality of burst my Systema had. This alone made the product worth the money in my eyes but it also has other really useful features such as:


Choose Tamiya or Deans
Works In any AEG
Choose from 1-7 shot burst on the fly
Works for Lipos, NIMH and NICD batteries
Optional sniper mode that adds 1 sec delay between each shot, this is very useful for DMRS
If wanted you can set it up so that after you do your 3 round burst you could continue to hold the trigger and still use full auto(Maybe multiple targets)
NO modification required
Adjust your guns ROF dramatically(can only lower it) , I will use this to make any AEG shoot Real Steel ROF or to conserve BBs and gearbox life
Can easily tell you a batteries voltage at power up, Accurate up to .1v. This is great if you do not know if your battery is a 9.6 , 8.4 ect or if your borrowing.

The Burst wizard itself is very small at only 2.25 inches x .65 inches. So It can fit into almost any battery compartment, but the tightest fitting will be AKs and P90s probably depending on your actual battery size.

Can you choose which selector feature gets the burst? I want to keep my semi but have my auto turned into a 3 rd burst. Is this doable?

I believe that it replaces your full auto not your semi-auto.

Yep you can setup semi auto and 3 round burst at the same time and even semi, 3 round burst, full auto all at the sane time if you hold 3 round burst it will go full auto if set to do so.

I saw on youtube a burst wizard demonstration and don't know if the audio was off but it seems like there's a second delay in firing

I'm considering ordering one of these for my Sig 552. It's been a while since I've seen a product like this.

Nope no delay in mine. Exact same trigger response as without it.

Does this have active breaking, as in, it allows the gearbox to stop only when it completes a full cycle?

Yes it does. It says on the site.
