My AK shoots around 425 fps and I use .28 bbs so the range on my gun is great. I still use the iron sights and am looking for a good sight and mount. There are so many different ones it would be VERY helpful for some suggestions on sights. I don't just mean rifle scopes though. I would buy a red dot, reflex, holographic, rifle scope whatever would be best for long range firefights. So im pretty much asking for help on picking an inexpensive AK scope mount and a sight that would be helpful for longrange fights. PLEASE suggest a sight UNDER 60$

Well, do you want a side-mounted optics rail or a whole rail for the upper? There's a few styles.

I don't need a whole rail for the upper. just a rail that attatches to side that I can put a sight on top of the gun.

Does your gun's body have the side-rail mount? If not you'd need to find a claw mount or something.

Is there any reason not just to get the Cyma mount? You know it will fit.

As for what to put on it, can you quantify "long-range firefights" a bit more specifically?

It does have the sidemount and the cyma would fit, but its out of stock. And I could measure it out later if you would like but its almost as far as the gun will shoot. We play on a long field so probably over 50 yards. I just don't know if my gun is accurate enough for a sniper scope.

yep just measured. its over 50 yards normally. Right now I just play the role as heavy gunner with my ak, but its really accurate and I would just like a sight for it.

Thanks guys. I bought a NCStar ak rail and a truglo red dot sight! Should work great

CM048 should have the side rail mount, and should have a rail included with it...
