Hey guys,
I just made the switch to lipos and I'm enjoying the heck out of it :) Anyway, I got this charger http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/_...240v_Input.html this battery http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/u...?idproduct=6539 and this battery monitor http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/_...nitor_2_6S.html I checked the voltage of the battery with the battery monitor right out of the box and it was 3.86 - 3.86 - 3.87, fired my gun to enjoy the sound of my high rps (27rps on an m130 is high for me) and wet my pants a little cuz I was so happy :) . This brought down the voltage to 3.83 - 3.81 - 3.84 after a high cap So then I charged it, and when the 3 LED went green, I checked the voltage and it was 4.03 - 3.83 - 3.89 My question is, can we trust the charger cuz it's a Turnigy and have good reviews? or the battery monitor which is known to be not the most accurate but still, 3.83 and 4.03 seems like too big of a gap for me. Plus should it not be 4.2 fully charged? Also, do lipo batteries need to be broken in for the voltage of the cells to stablize? |

That takes the battery monitor out of the equation, let's see which one is faulty now, battery or charger :( |
