My friend here at school has a brother does does a lot of rc airplane stuff and uses this website for the batteries. They are low priced, but I am wondering if the quality is any good. By the way they are all Lipos. If they are good quality, are they safe to use on a relatively stock gun?

These are actually great batteries. The 11.1v would require you to do some mods such as:Fixing aoe, reshimming, adding a mosfet, and afew other things.
The 7.4v doesnt really need a mosfet if kept under 25c but a mosfet will help no matter what.

The Lipo batteries on that website will be better than any "airsoft" marketed lipo on an airsoft site. They will also be a heck of a lot cheaper. The one problem with the specific batteries that you linked though is that they have a small capacity and discharge rate, which means they have less power. If you can fit the batteries listed here in your gun, defiantly go with these.

If someone walked up to you and hit you in the head with a teddy bear and then smacked you in the head with a baseball bat, would you have to see reliable data on which one hits the hardest to be convinced?

Also, a well-kept "secret" for those who are looking for a great-performing mini-type-sized 11.1V LiPo is Zippy's 1600mAh 20C battery:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/_...Warehouse_.html

It's a superb fit for any 8.4V mini-type NiMH/NiCd battery. So if you have a G36C and constantly run out of juice with your puny battery (that you have to shove into the hand guard), try this LiPo instead. I have bought tons of them and the performance has been always great because of the excellent discharge rate. I even use two LiPos and run them in parallel, which would effectively double the capacity!

FYI, the above link leads you to HobbyKing's U.S. warehouse. I get those LiPos from Lakewood (WA), which is only 10 minutes away from me so my orders usually arrive after 2 days. ;)

The only "drawback" of those LiPos is the included XT60 connector--if you are using Deans. On this note, you can also order Deans from HobbyKing's website, but you must submit two different orders if your items come from different warehouse locations.
