Dear Fellow Members-Went back to Wally World to buy their Beretta 90 Two that's distributed by Umarex for $15.00 or so and I stumbled on the Combat Zone action kit for $38.00! The store clerk said that she had only seen this one in the store and I knew that online the Mag 9 goes for $40-60.00, so I bought it stat!:)Just like my Umarex Ares G36C AEG, the tri-language instructions are USELESS-the Umarex tech said as much when I called them after purchasing my G36C AEG (not the Elite). Took me the longest time to determine how to keep winding the magazine to maintain spring tension to keep the bb feed going. Still, the Mag 9 is ALOT of fun for plinking in the apartment (Note: I do have a girlfriend and a life-the local gun club is just too durn far with my day/night work schedule).
The Combat Zone 1911 Stryker is a bugger to cock using the rear of the slide-I had to cock holding the nose of the slide. Still, it definitely throws the bb's out faster than the Mag 9's rated 200 fps-supposed to be around 250 fps. I also like the working grip safety-just like the real 1911 pistol. Not as realistic as the Beretta that I was going to buy, as it doesn't break down at all. It also doesn't always fire after cocking, but I think that that is due to my cocking technique more than anything else. Still, I think that I got really lucky with this purchase, as I do not see the Mag 9 nor this combo pack listed at Walmart.com. My dollar's worth:)-Gearhead222
