Hey guys,
So yesterday I stripped a King Arms 7 metal teeth piston thanks to TSD bbs. Anyway, I had a SHS green piston laying around and thought that it should work fine for at least 5000 rounds in my setup since I corrected AoE. I have used that piston before for maybe 1500 rounds in a weaker setup (380 fps @ 15 rps) . I stripped the sucker in less than 100 rounds :( However, looking at the how piston is stripped, I wonder if it is my AoE or the piston was already weak. Here are the pictures: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17399695/IMG_20111204_111458.jpg http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17399695/IMG_20111204_112139.jpg http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17399695/IMG_20111204_112151.jpg I apologize for the quality, I took it with my phone. :P Here is my current setup: - SHS m130 @ 440 fps - 11.1v 25c 2200 mAh + X high Tech HT @ 32 rps Please tell me if I suck at correcting AoE or what, cuz I don't want to buy another piston (SHS 7 metal teeth this time) and strip it again. |
