This will be a MILSIM training course available to all airsoft players. There are no age or gear restrictions for this course all players are welcome. This is a MILSIM training course designed to teach players the basics of playing MILSIM style airsoft. This course will cover player roles, squad composition, and squad tactics. The instructors are all experienced MILSIM players who have many years of experience on the local, regional and national level.

The course will be laid out as follows,

· Classroom Instruction

o First we will cover a Code of Conduct all MILSIM players are expected to keep

o We will discuss the different player roles associated with MILSIM style play

o We will discuss basic units such as Fire Teams and Squads and how they are made up of players

o We will discuss basic squad tactics

· Field Exercises

o We will do walkthroughs of the tactics learned in the classroom portion

o Squads will have a chance to work together here

· Final Exercise

o This will be a live fire exercise were the participants will be organized into squads and given mission orders. They will have multiple objectives to complete and will have to work together in order to complete them

· Final After Action Review (AAR)

o We will summarize everything from the course and answer any outstanding questions

o All players who complete the course will receive their Raider Tab.



Upon completion of this course all participants will receive a "Raider" tab to be worn over their Cousins Airsoft patch. This tab will show all Cousins staff that you have completed this course and will make you eligible for specialist roles, including leadership positions at all Cousins Airsoft MILSIM events including the Jawbreaker Series and Mini MILSIN games held every month.

There are only 20 slots available in the first training course so be sure to sign up early so you don't miss your chance. Being this is a MILSIM game you are encouraged to sign up with your squad/team but it is not necessary.

Please note that this is not the regular Sunday game, this is a training course. You will need to have your playing gear for the field exercises. If there is time after the course all participants are welcome to join the regular game to try out their new knowledge.
