Anyways, this is a story, obviously not real, but based off my real experiences. I had a confrontation with someone on my bus today, so I am going to pretty much put it in here, before starting the story. This is what inspired the story:

It's important to note, before the story takes place, a few days ago, I saw a bunch of idiots with absolutely no eye protection, spring shotguns and pistols, literally walking around in the STREET (no the street is not deserted) waving the guns around, trying to look tactical. They seemed to be not too much younger than me, so I basically went outside and told them to play in a field, or something of the like, or they would most likely find themselves arrested, and our town would then ban airsoft.


This little conversation took place on a bus, I was coming home from track practice. I have made NO EXAGGERATIONS. This kids stupidity is 100% authentic.

Me: Hey, do you play airsoft?
Him: Yeah! Do you?
Me: ...Yeah... Were you on ______________ road last Saturday?
Him: Hmm... ______________ road... Nope. I play at ____________ Park.
Me: *Facepalm* (This park is one of the most populated parks. Little kids go there, and the rec sports play there as well.)
Him: Nonono, it's by the back, theres some woods... People rarely see you, it's fine.
Me: (Not wanting to lecture him about it) Do the people who play there actually have good guns?
Him: Yeah, there is this one kid, he shot me with a 725 FPS automatic rifle.
Me: Bullsh*t. There is no way that kid owns a 725 FPS rifle.
Him: Nonono! You don't understand, he bought upgrade parts for it!
Me: Even with upgrad-
Him: Have you been to (names some random store I don't know)
Me: No...?
Him: They sell upgrades for airsoft guns that can make them shoot 1275 FPS!!!!
Me: I don't think it is possible to have an airsoft gun shoot that high. You know, I'm pretty sure only legitimate jacked up BB guns, or real firearms can shoot tha-
Him: Airsoft... SNIPERS. It's true.
Me: *Sigh* I'm just sayin', thats a load of ****
Him: It's true!
(I actually forget what happened here, but the conversation led to this. I asked him what brand these godly airsoft guns were, and he didn't recall.)
Me: Yeah, one of my guns broke. The one I have now shoots maybe 350 fps?
*It's my stop, I stand up to get off the bus
Him: (He actually took a slight pause here, as if he was thinking of something to say) Oh yeah? Well mine shoots 360 fps. HA.
Me: Then it's probably ****
Him: (He actually sounded really offended) ...what? no...
*As I'm getting off the bus
Me: I was just kidding, calm yourself!

And yeah, I was pretty much in shock after I realized I probably lost a few IQ points in that conversation.
Jesus christ, if any of you guys have dealt with a Newbie the size of this before, please let me know. I almost wanted to strangle his '1275fps' neck

Why did I say his gun was terrible?
Well, I know about 3% of the population that plays airsoft at this town actually has respectable guns. Even those blessed with respectable guns, the community in general is not very respectable. This kid, Nathan, got a Tokyo Marui AK, and everyone was like "YO IT SHOOTS LIKE 500 FPSSS" and I'm like "TM guns shoot pretty weak stock..." and they're like "NO ITS TRUUU IT REALLY DUSSSS"

Anyways onto the story, I will add more later, possibly.

The Cross Man

He looked out the window. It was a humid Saturday evening. There was a big rainstorm last Thursday, and as a result many fields flooded. No matter, because most of them were dry at this point. It was time... for Airsoft.
"You see, my friend Jack is hosting a party!" He explained to his mom.

A huge 3v3 event... he thought to himself

Capture the hill...

Jack even went to Walmart and got a new $40 gun for this event. Not even the transparent type. he knew his parents didn't want him to get it, but it was his birthday. Because he was turning 13, and he was finally a teenager, his parents had to give him more responsibilities. He shrugged, and poured a hundred or so Crossman Precision .12g Woodland Camo BBs into his speedloader.

With his gun at hand, he put his two fully loaded magazines in one pocket, and his speed loader in the other pocket. He put the gun in the trunk of his Mom's car, and went back to retrieve his ammo. Grabbing the handle of the 5,000 Crossman BB bucket, he ran outside, and hopped into his Mom's Sudan.

"Don't forget your eye goggles" His mom said, and threw him a pair of safety glasses

He sighed, and gazed out the window, wondering what was to come later that night. He couldn't wait...

With a hopping motion, he jumped out of the car, and quickly opened up the trunk, grabbing his weapon. It was a transparent M-16 rifle, that he had received from a trade. It was fully automatic. When asked "How much FPS does it shoot?" he would always reply "470 FPS, but that doesn't matter. Play a game with me, and you'll see why." before walking away. He always saw himself as one of the elites; one of the seasoned veterans of airsoft... in his community, that is.

Now, there was a threat, a challenge. Jack, with his better gun may jeopardize his position as an elite... He returned back to reality, and remembered he was finally at Jack's house. At the same time, he realized that he looked stupid, just standing there with a blank expression on his face for the last 10 or so seconds. He quickly runs towards Jack's garage, and are greeted by a bunch of guys in camouflage T-shirts, one of which actually had a vest.

"Freeze!" they said, some of them chuckling as they pointed their guns at his face jokingly.

"Okay, okay, settle down guys" said Jack, and he came through the door that connected the garage and his house.

"Hey, Cross! Nice time to show up! We were gonna start without you! It's you, me, Ryan, and Nick against everyone else. Nick is upstairs playing CoD to prepare, and Ryan is eating some Nachos before the game. Get geared up, I'll meet you in the woods!"

Wow... 4 v 4? And Jack is on my team? Awesome! This is gonna be great! He thought to himself, with a smirk on his face. At the same time, he noticed that one of the kids, dressed in a desert camouflage vest approached him. He felt a nudge.

"Hey, why do they call you Cross?" the kid whispered, looking very intrigued.

The response was short and sweet.

"Because..." he said, taking a magazine and loading it into his M16, placing it backwards at first, but correcting it with a second try. Cross stared at the kid dead on in the eye.

"In airsoft games, before you die... The last thing you will feel, is the force and power behind my Crossman BBs."

And with one quick motion, Cross slung the M16 so that it was resting on his shoulder, and began walking to the field.

Game time.
