Once you get all the main stealth processes down go for hand signals. These are proven to be very helpful especially when the enemy is all over the radio. http://www.airsoftgent.be/dbase/hands.htm

It's simply to make sure the enemy can't create problems by listening to the radio. Use codes or just simply make beeps so that say clicking the talk button once means go and so on. You just need to make sure that you always use the radio the same amount so that they never think something is about to happen because there's more chatter.

But then the enemy can intercept it. And if you're really close to the enemy, you can't use the radio, because they can still hear you talking without the radio

That depends, unless everybody in ur neighborhood is on vacation and have given you permissino to airsoft, then yes. if you live on a private street with not too many people (like I do) its not too hard to find days to have wars. just days were a few of the people are gone and you have permission. its a long street, but its private, and most the people I live near have kids that airsoft so its not too much of a biggie.

If there is a chance of you injuring someone or getting the cops called on you, then yes, it is a bad idea.

But either way, discussion of "backyard airsoft" is against the rules on ASF.

QUOTE
From this time forward, the Term "Backyard Airsoft", when used by anyone
on this forum, will be assumed to be in reference to:

Playing in any part of your, or someone else's yard at a private residence, within visual
or audible distance of any neighbor or public road or street. Fences don't count, no matter
how high they are.

From this time forward, the Term "Neighborhood" when used in conjunction with or
associated with the playing of Airsoft "games" will be assumed to be in reference to
playing airsoft in a public place.

Now that you know and understand these terms and their use in this context... know
that any discussions on this forum that even remotely HINT at the idea that these such
activities are ok... will be either edited, moved, closed or deleted or any combination
thereof.

Now for the disclaimers...

This forum understands that there are many of you that live in rural country areas,
whose backyards are large, in fact many acres in size, and far from any active street. Be it
farms, or simply a country house. These many acre back plots are not... by the above
definitions, considered to be "backyards". If you have such property at your disposal....
go for it... as long as you have permission of the owner, play far enough away from
the closest public highway, and have informed the police of your airsoft activities.

This policy has always been as such at ASF... now it is in writing... there will be no
further discussion of this policy. It is set in stone.
