Hey all,
I am planning on buying a MPA4. However, there is a slight problem. I CAN'T DECIDE WHETHER TO GET ICS or CA! Please tell me why or why not you will choose on of these brands and tell me the pros and cons. This is a big decision for me because this will be my first High-end AEG. (Since I usually play cqb I am leaning towards higher ROF and not FPS.) I have checked out other brands such as Tokyo Marui but they don't live up to my standards (I really consider there AEGs as MPGs not high-end that many people think of it as) Thanks for the Help! =) cHiLLpiLL |

I would actually go with a company that has not had problems or not that many. I have heard great and many things about G&G guns and I have been using more and more of them as of late when I'm not reenacting. G&G mp5 and all of it's variants have impressed me like no other company other than CYMA have.
I would take into consideration G&Gs proline, metal bodied MP5s. They are mainly focused on ROF and not fps as they are normally only 350fps and below. http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.ph...oducts_id=28235 I think this would be a good choice for you, and they don't need any upgrades. Comes with a metal hopup, 6.04 TBB, and a great motor to boot. Defiantly worth it's price. BUT if your dead set on those two, I would pick the CA. I have checked out other brands such as Tokyo Marui but they don't live up to my standards (I really consider there AEGs as MPGs not high-end that many people think of it as) First off, get that idea out of your mind. Tokyo Marui is the god father of AEGs and have been doing it better than anyone else for longer than anyone else. They are not MPEG quality, and don't deserve to be compared to such. That being said, for your particular purposes, I'd wait a bit for the new ICS MX5 series. Not only do they feature the innovative two piece gearbox design from their M4s, but they also feature an electrical three round burst, effectively making it the only MP5 other than a Systema PTW to do that. -------------------- Hiatus over.

In airsoft, that could be forever and a day.....
I too am not a big fan of TM only because they are not made for me here in the states. I personally think TM are worthless hunks of junk here in the states but they may be golden over in Japan. I see no use for them in the states as there are already many products out now that exceed TM in looks and performance, and only fools would disagree. I don't care if Mauri was the first maker of the AEG. That means it can get away with charging the consumer more. The desgin has been copied perfectly and the only difference is the care and control that goes into each one. Most of the guns I have bought only needed to be slightly cleaned up or reshimmed, then it matches the performance, if not exceeding it...... -------------------- If you need a good quality computer built and need it under a budget, I can help. I own an ics mp5 sd5 and I would say it is a pretty great gun. The body is made out of a very hard plastic that isn't very shiny. The only problem I have had is mine needs to have the AoE adjusted since I am eating through pistons at 23 RPS

G&G is IMO the best mp5 on the market. They are great stock guns and have very nice internals. Their full stock versions can house very large batterys which allow for longer playing time and higher rof(generally) on a 9.6v large. I was dissapointed in the ics and ca mp5's I played a couple games with.
