Hey guys so I decided to get back into airsoft, but wanted to do different approach

and decided to go on with pistols only even in the fields.

using these

kwa g19 "owned"

tm 5.1 high capa "owned"

and actually looking to purchase a tm mk23

was wondering which might be the best and most affordable I guess with upgrades and "field useage"

I think the kwa g19 will be fun since upgrades are pretty cheap but you can only do so much for an affordable
price but everything seems cheaper on this gun although I believe the accuracy is poor out of the 3.

tm 5.1 has been an awesome gun very accurate but have not tried upgrading and have not tried it in the field.
but I just installed a Prime Metal slide on it though its only cosmetics.

now the tm mk23, I have used couple times before I remember it being very accurate and quiet, though
I also remember it being very boring haha, but still seems fun for a field gun.

which do you guys recommend using as a primary on the field?
I will be using all 3 honestly in the field but wanted "one of them" to be a primary so I can
upgrade that one the most.

thanks again folks

G19 compared to the other two, would suck. IMO.
So skipping the G19.
G19 upgrades are not cheap. I have researched it when I decided to pick a G19/5.1 because it seemed cheaper, but it was not. I got alot more out of the 5.1 for a couple of more bucks. G19 is also a pain in the censored2.gif to take down.

TM 5.1 probably the most upgrades possible for any GBB or maybe in all of airsoft. Probably the easiest gun I ever took down or the TM 1911, but they are similar.
TM MK23, can barely even find a metal slide (even if it isn't needed), alot more expensive, hard to find, with 180+ shipped from HK. You can get a very upgraded 5.1.

5.1 as primary because I said so ;). im serious

oops, my bad thought this was a which-gun-to-get-threadish

TM mk23 is best used as a sidearm for snipers because of it's long range.
For assault it's too big, personally I use it for assault only because I used a Desert Eagle.

The 5.1 can arguably be the best stock GBB gun. It can be customized to the fullest to make it your own "style". My latest GBB is a 5.1 and I wonder why I spent all these years trying all other GBBs and not even look at a TM 5.1

The TM Hop-up is amazing as well, better than the KWA/KSC line.

Ray L - Wondering, what part of the G19 was hard to strip? The only part I found a pain was the hammer spring, and that part doesn't really need to be replaced. And what upgrades did you get? I have a fully tuned G19 for less than $350. My Hi-capa 5.1 is running over 500, and I'm not even halfway done =)

He said upgrades were cheap and I said they aren't.
$350 to spend on gun and upgrades, Hi-Capa would be better than G19. (spending your money wisely)
Yes when I said it's hard to strip, I meant what's in the hammer chamber and etc.
In my debate I am comparing G19 to 5.1, 5.1 take down is easier than the G19.

Oh yea, btw Hi-Capas have DIY mods that would increase your performance unlike the G19

I can personally vouch for the hi-capa's field performance as I use it as a primary as well (sold my aeg). with a tightbore, high flow and recoil springs, you will have a clean, crisp gun that can drop a target at 150 feet. if you go further and purchase a metal slide piston head and new nozzle, you will be incredibly satisfied with yourself. If you "max" it out, you will fall over and be swept off your feet with orgasmic blowback awesomeness. well... maybe not. but you get the point. my vote is 5.1 any day, few extra mags and a tightbore and you will have yourself a field-able killing machine.

alrights well bought my

tm mk23, going to get about 5 mags for it, and only upgrade would be to fit a tightbore from a vsr into it.

as far as the 5.1 personally I believe it is one of the best gbbs I have ever shot too.

I bought a prime slide for it but the blasted slide needs dremlin done to it so -_-
but yeah I think I will be using both as primaries haha.

5.1 is frigin loud though.
but awesome kick back I wonder how much harder with a upgrade spring
