This is my first review so bear with me. I have just recently received my KWA G19 and I absolutely love it. I ordered the gun from airsoftgi.com in a package deal complete with the gun, the manual, an extra magazine, bb's, and 2 cans of green gas and a can of sillicone spray. (Sorry there are no pictures with this review as I have no digital camera.)
APPEARANCE The gun came in a cardboard box encased with the gun, a small bag of bb's, a small bottle of lube, a loading tool, and a hop-up adjuster. When I picked the gun up out of the box I was truely amazed. The gun had an amazing feel. The slide is metal and with the magazine in the gun, the weight is just like a real glock! Of course there is an almost impossible-to-remove orange tip on the gun. (However I have successfully done so with perfection, If you wish to know how...PM me PERFORMANCE The part everyone wants to know about...the performance! Well, I gotta tell ya...it works extremely well so far. After loading the magazines with gas and bb's I took my new gun outside to give it a test. I was aiming to hit a tree no wider than 1ft. in across at about 50ft. away. I was probably able to hit that tree trunk 8 out of 10 times. This is fairly good considering it's a GBB. The maximum effective range is about 70-75 ft. without wind. While firing the gun, one would notice the awesome sound of the metal slide "clanking" with each shot. Since this gun is a semi-automatic pistol only, there is less concern for immediate wear and tear (unlike full auto glocks). Gas consumption is good provided you put the gas in the mag the right way. This may take a few times to get used to. At least for me...there are sometimes when I think I get a full charge but I might only get about half. This is only user error. When properly charged, you can get almost two mags worth of bb's out of a single gas charge. OVERALL Overall, I'd give this gun a definate two thumbs up. I know how everyone likes these things on a 1-10 rating scale...you will find this below. I have had this gun far about a month and put about 1000 rds through it. I have yet to experience any problems with the gun externally or internally. In my personal opinion, this is an amzing GBB pistol that will suite newbies and veterans alike. Whether you milsim or shoot pop cans in your basement...this is a very reliable and versitle gun. The gun itself can be found for just over $100 ($149 if you get the package deal mentioned above) and is worth every single penny. In all honesty, the gun is probably worth twice that. BUY THIS GUN if you are looking for a trustworthy side arm or a primary weapon. If anyone has any specific questions, please don't hesitate to PM me. Appearance (8/10) Feel (10/10) Upgradeability (10/10) Range (9/10) Accuracy (9/10) OVERALL (9/10) -------------------- CA M15A4 Carbine (Jade)
