Keep in mind people, that a LOGO, as BattlePriest stated the other day is something that we can use for Name Recognition. It is usually just an image or picture that tells the consumer exactly who it belongs to and what it is.... QUOTE (BattlePriest) A LOGO is a self contained graphic containing pictures, symbols or text, or any combination of the three. A logo.... can be used in any type MEDIA such as Banners Tshirts Patches Signs Bussiness cards... A banner is NOT a logo... but it can contain a logo.... A logo is basically a set identifiable graphical signature, that can be used across many media types. Once a LOGO, is chosen it becomes a standard which should be used in ANY advertisement for the specified organization. For example... this is a logo.  Which can be found in ANY Motorola ad, product packaging, product casing, bussiness literature, clothing, etc etc.... I prefer the first one over the new one (with white background). However, with the green/black format I'm using for the forums, the new one with a black background is pretty sweet. I'd say check it against the other themes and make the black background transparent.

heh... transparent backgrounds are best suited when they have a set color background... otherwise they look well... bad.

I voted more than one, for choices A and B. I chose these two because of the three they are simplest and would be easily recognizable and image-associable to ASF. Not to say that I don't like choice C, its cool and very creative (the "S" matches my icon
 ) but is rather complicated to be used all the time. Very nice designs though, good credit wherever credit is due
