close up of my receiver. Used to have an Ambidextrous selector switch on the right side (thats why it's scratched up) took it off cause it wasn't useful, I'm a righty. now there's just the aluminum end of my new selector (shiney and silvery looking)




Pics of my battery mod. SW-COMP mosfet secured inside the fake magazine shell. holds and runs a large 9.6v battery. I've used this method for 5 years, not going to change. Thought about switching to a Lipo, but have no extra room for my SW-comp mosfet.

I will forever hate you for that Prowin/PGC gearbox :D - what RPS are you getting?

And what's that lever on the side of the A4 receiver?

Not to mention his MThaynes CNC billet box.
Those levers are anti- rotational pins used for RS.

Anyways whorify, I see you are up to the usual- sexin up your m4.

Wow I might actually try that battery method - I'm having a very tough time finding a power option for my CTR stock.

low ROF so I get an even and pefect timing thru my 3 round burst

the levers are KNS anit-walk trigger pins for real AR's. I'm using it for the middle gearbox/receiver pin. no worries about that pin falling out anymore

didn't have to mod the upper untill I installed my PGC Prowin gearbox. this gearbox is alot fatter than my old MThaynes gearbox and/or any other normal gearbox. aside from that, everything else fit just fine



pins didn't fit out of the package, needed to bore out the center pin a little more, but it isn't too hard for my to drill thru aluminium gearbox

btw where did you get the ring mount for the flashlight , im looking for a 30mm ring for the GP6 II flashlight I have, mom used tthe light to in the cellar with no lights and lost the secure assembly LOL.

I got it from Ebaybanned. it's made by Action, a replica of the MAKO 1inch offset side mount specifically for flashlights

I like the vltor logos. what are they, little swords?

and why did you cut the side out of the mag instead of just taking the end of it off? it looks like the battrery would fit right down in there. unless its like a tiny milimeter too thick

the gearbox is aluminium and anodized blue. vltor logo is a sword thru the emblem. I'm using sub-C sized cells, they're wayt oo big to fit inside a magazine body.

hey thats nuts you fit a large battery into a m4 magazine shell. Took me a minute to figure out why you showed the magazine in their thats a great ideal.

interesting.

however I personally would prefer a battery inclosed in a full stock or 416 short stock, I wish they made something lengthwise in between though.

I like the upper receiver and battle wear looks legit.

I used to have a full stock way back when. but I've been using this same battery mod for about 4 years. back then there wasn't any other option for a collapsible stock and large battery. since then, I'm keeping it original, why change now if it still works? not going to switch to a Lipo.

I like how you used an M4 magazine to disguise the battery, it's very much a win in my book, much better than just cramming the battery into the pouch and calling it done.

how does the upper receiver even stay on? it looks like if the barrel and hop up unit weren't part of the gearbox, the upper receiver would just pivot freely around the front pin.

it's secured like the original G&P design. notches in the rear when you slide it on and the front reciever pin.

another Q. Did you buy any special battery pouch? or is that a single mag converted for this purpose? I don't want to accidentally buy a pouch too small for a mag.

it's a normal collapsible stock magazine pouch and a standard magazine shell

You should get an aimpoint with a canti mount like me, they look beast on M4's

exactly what makes it overkill? I'm not rocking PEQs, lasers suppressors that would classify overkill. everything on this rifle I actually use, just ask the people on the other end of the rifle

well, I'm changing out my LaRue RAS to a Daniel defense 10 inch rail and swapping my front sight to a small gas block. Maybe that will be overkill

I'll never do the buffer tube batt just because it can't hold both Batt and mosfet.
