Hey Guys,
As some of you know I have a youtube account where I make reviews, guides, updates and other interesting videos relating to airsoft (Found Here). Recently I have fallen into a predicament. My main video camera won't turn on and is being fixed right now by someone far more knowledgeable than I and my other camcorder was stolen during and open house. So I am stuck with my regular old camera that takes great pictures, but lousy video. I want to keep making videos and since I have made some many disassembly and gearbox guides, yet never fully explained what everything does, I want to make some videos telling airsofters looking to get inside their gearboxes what the are looking at exactly. These videos would include everything from gears to mosfets. Short Story: My cameras are broken or stolen and I am making picture only videos about gearbox parts. I would really like to have something at the end of these videos recommending what the best and worst parts you can find for the particular subject. I have tested plenty of items and I have some good information to go off. However, what if I got a defect or a really really good part? That is were you guys come in. If you have had any outstanding parts that you have used or always use or say you had some just awful part that you were totally disappointed in I would like to know. This way I can recommend products that have had great results for everyone, not just myself. So if you would like to put your experience out on the line just fill this out: Product: How was your experience with this?: Reasons for Like/Dislike?: What did you use this for?: Of course this doesn't have to be an essay and you don't have to do this for everything you have ever used. You don't even have to fill out the last two questions. If you do help me out with this I would be happy to cite you in the videos if you please. Feel free to ask any questions if anything is fuzzy. Thanks, Reed -------------------- ![]() |

TAR, I am a subscriber to your vids... I think you do an outstanding job thus far. I do not have any input on reviews as you are requesting, but I would like to point out one thing....
Taking info from others and putting it in your vids could be a thing for you... Taking the word from others that may not have any true experience with parts could prove to be damaging to your reputation. I do understand how thi would help you out a lot, but be warned the info provided needs to be validated b4 you use it.. A lot of people watch your vids and are looking for accurate information.. It is only fair to you and them that you do this with much restriction. Product: SOCOM Stock Lisc by ACE (Evike $60+s&h) How was your experience with this?: Finish is outstanding. Weight is on the heavy side of the "Stock" world but I think it adds to the durability and quality of the build. The install was a bit of a hastle because the washers for the buffer tube I had were all too big and it did not come with one, so I had to make one fit with a little filing.. Once on, it felt great, looks great, and is wobble free... Reasons for Like/Dislike?: Like: For Airsoft, this stock is no different than any adj LE Stock, therefore it is purely a cosmetic MOD. But it is a very very sexy mod. -The Foam pad adds a nice touch and a comfy carry postition. -No Wobble. *Part of this is also a Dislike (Read below) -Adds a nice weight to the back end of the gun giving a better feel of balance throughout. -Included detachable sling mount is a godsend -Very comfy while held in firing position -Compact design Dislike: -The Buffer Tube is on the tight side (I little too small) for most Tube Washers -Does not come with Butt Scew and washer. -To ensure no Wobble there is a screw on top that keep the Stock in a groove for the adjustment.. This screww is wut you tighten to keep it wobble free, but it also hinders the ability to easily adjust the stock if it is too tight. This also makes adjustment on the rough side, not a smmoth action. What did you use this for?: I originally got it for my ICS M4 (CQB Setup), but for fun's sake I decided to try it on my Echo1 G36K... Not sure I like it as it stands on the G36, but others seem to find it visually stimulating. A few pics ![]() ![]() -------------------- ![]() The Harder I work, the Better I live..... Hehe I subscribe to your channel too. Gj so far. Okay so here goes I suppose.
Systema Hop up Bucking 1. I bought this after being recommended highly by other's on this forum because of its relatively low price and its results. At the time I also bought it because it was one of the few things that I understood how to replace. I replaced it with a stock JG bucking and noticed instant results as far as the consistency of my shots. I have also replaced the buckings in a KS p90, dboys RAS2, dboys m16a4, and probably a couple others I don't remember. As of now it is the only bucking I use for tech work and replacements. 2.Likes- cheap -instant results as far as grouping improvement -simple to install Dislikes -None. Pretty straightforward piece Madbull 300mm Black Python Tightbore 1. I bought this off the Vainguard for my Dboys RAS 2. The installation was a bit tricky as it didn't want to full go inside the hop up chamber and paired with my systema bucking it was a tight squeeze. But I got it in and when I test fired it the accuracy results were even more consistent than without. I also replaced my friends Dboys m16a4 stock barrel with this and he too noticed the improvement in accuracy. 2. Likes -cheap (30 bucks compared to 60 or more for a higher end brand) -lightweight aluminum takes a tiny bit of weight off - instant accuracy results Dislikes- A tight squeeze for my hop up chamber - I have heard some people have had their barrels bent because of the fairly pliable aluminum -------------------- Dboys M4 RAS II (41 rps on 11.1 Lipo)
Upgrades: Systema bucking, Madbull V2 300mm tightbore, SHS 13:1 Gears, Bravo/Lonex 8mm gearbox, SHS shims, Lonex trigger contacts, AWS microfet, X-hightech spring guide, x-hightech cutoff lever, Prometheus MS120, SHS 15 tooth piston (2nd tooth cut), Lonex Piston Head, SHS cylinder head (sorbo by m9), Dream Army High Speed motor, Modify Shims, SCS spacer, Lonex HU chamber, Guarder mag catch, Replica Magpul MIAD grip, Magpul AFG, Noveske Sound Amp, MOE trigger guard, Turnigy Nano-Tech 11.1 (25-50c), Deans Connectors ARMY 1911 Kimber Upgrades: Hogue Grips |

Having gone to your channel I just subscribed. I love your sense of humor and your reviews are informative as well. As for pieces I have had good experiences with, I can second the Madbull barrel and Systema Bucking.
Systema Bucking-Bought becuase of everyone recommending it. Like-performance increase, simple installation, good price. Dislike-nothing. Madbull barrel-Bought as a good budget TBB upon recommendations from here. Like-good performance, good price, wide variety of lengths for any application. Dislike-not as durable or well performing as more expensive barrels. -------------------- ![]() QUOTE j0ker: EYE DEFIE SPEALING PM me to suggest ideas to Crosman! We can make a difference. |
