New Gun! Not the one I've been saving for, but one my dad picked out.

We went to a new Airsoft store, Apex Airsoft in NJ [grand Opening today], and found many guns there. I was just going to get some high-quality BB's, and a propane adaptor, and while I was looking at a TM Detonics, I turned around to show my Dad, and I didn't see him. I looked in the firing area, and found him shooting a P226. Upon closer inspection, I found this was an HFC P226. It was either that, or a WE 4.3 he likedI told him that if HE was going to get one, NOT to get the WE, and the P226 instead. Great choice. This guns hella accurate, sturdy metal, and has a very nice snap to it with propane. I came home, smacked the propane adaptor onto a fresh can of propane, and I shot. Wonderful. I was waiting for the gas to spew out, like every WE I've shot, and waited, and shot, and waited, nothing (Thankfully). I was able to go through 1.5 mags on just one fill of propane. Awesome performance too. Put a nice, deep dent into the bottom of a Coke can, and while chronoing it at Apex, it came in at close to 370. Now for pics.

Yeah, it's cheap, but if you want one, DEFINITELY go for this OR a TM. Then its all personal preferance. I side by side shot a TM and this today, this one felt nicer.

I wasn't aware that Hfc made a P226
Just one thing you must do

Get rid of that Giganinormous orange tip!

The gun is his dad's so the orange tip is staying on.

What is the effective range of it? I've always wanted to get a P226.

After testing today, I'd say a good 90 something feet. It hit my back yard fence, and so I'm sure it can go at least 20-30 feet farther.

I'm not even sure if it is HFC. No brand anywhere, but the grip sayd P175, and the box sayd HG-175. All points to HFC, because the HG thing is theirs, and no 226 in the grip says not KJW, or anything else for that matter.

I always thought the kjw p226 was the best tm compatible p226, but after reading this, I don't know. have you had experience with the kjw? perhaps someone could do a comparison

7Th? Busy. Dorney park!

Exact address is 10 4th Street, Ewing NJ 08638 It's hard to find. Look for a door with APEX on it, and you'll see it. great service. Lotto guns.

I have had experience with all 3 P226's. They all look VERy similar to me. I'd say it's a clone. I might get a threaded barrel, and that will be a true test.

I SWEAR. My Dad's company gaives him free Dorney Park tickets. And now, I'm beginning to give up skirmishing. I want to chairsoft, collect, and build.

AUSpartan- It's worth knocking some stuff off your list. I was able to it the small Pepsi logo on a Diet Pepsi max can, from 40 feet away. Amazing accuracy once you adjust the hop-up.

We got it for $100. I use Propane, and a Sapien Arms Propane Adaptor. To be more specfic, I use Bernzomatic propane, because it doesn't smell foul, like Coleman. Currently, my Bernzomatic ran out of propane, so I use the smelly Coleman.

It is a great buy, and I haven't found it online. I'll do a review in a month or so to get to know it better, and see what happens to it.

Nice sig, wished it grew on me enough for me to get one. The decocker fuction reminds me of the USP, which I loved when I first got it.

Gotta get some of that Bernzomatic propane, since my propane stinks up the room when I charge my mags.

Yeah. I love it for that. It's also not as fat as the Coleman, so I get a better grip of the can.

NJsniper-Yeah, I am. Next week is my last game. My SAW? I might do stuff to it. ACM ELCAN, or ACOG, and I'm now jonesing for a rail kit and a ranger grip.

I want a P226. probably my dream pistol and then I want a M9 tactical PTP after a P226. Ill probably just upgrade my guns rather than buying new ones.
Nice gun. The one BIG suggestion I have is to make that BIG orange tip smaller. Just paint it leaving like 4mm of an orange tip...

I can't. It's my dad's gun, thus my dad's rules.

Instead of the M9 PTP, you could go both ways, and get a KWA P226 PTP, but I'd wait for them to work out the kinks in it, hopefully in a V2.
