Ok so I have painted alot of guns over the years and thought I might offer to lend my skills to others.
Alittle background, I was originally a Fine Arts major but switched to Criminal Justice last year. I have worked with airbrushes, oil paints, acrylic paints, and spray cans. Now when I say I have worked with I mean I have spent probably over 100 hours of working with each and so I understand how they can be used to their fullest potential and also I have learned their limitations. Here are some pics of two of my old rifles: First is my CA M24, now this was taken for a FS ad after I had painted it and it had seen a couple games and a accidental drop out of a tree. So the paint is alitle scuffed but its from heavy use. ![]() ![]() Next was my old bar-10 it was one of my favorite guns to paint and I think turned out great. ![]() ![]() ![]() While these paintjobs are similar I can do Urban, other different Woodlands(ie darker, or lighter) -desert -woodland -tiger strip -contract killer jobs -custom requests -snake skin (Contract killer jobs include various things, such as painting symbols, markings, minimal engraving and things of a custom order request nature) I can do patterned jobs ie marpat, digital but those will be done on a buyer to buyer bases as they take alot of work and the size of gun is a large factor. However for a 4 color job(base and all 4 cans used in the painting) Paint: 35 Labor: 15 Return shipping: up to buyer but id prefer to send it back via fedex The krylon ultra flat are the only brand I use unless specifically asked otherwise. each can is not cheap and the 35 for paint might not always cover for the cost. DO NOT POST UNLESS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE PAINTING SERVICE If you thread crap I will ask a mod to remove it and have him hopefully raise your warning. Im not a 14 year old child, and I have probably as much experience painting as sourmilk(most probably are to young to remember) anyways thanks for looking. couple more pics via request: ![]() ![]() obviously not mine but this is pretty much what snake skin ends up looking like

So how much do you charge? (sorry if I missed it) I assume you adjust cost by size of what is being painted so how much would a bolt action rifle cost? And do you have pics of all the different types of patterns(like dark woodland, desert urban... The m24 is lighter woodland right?) Maybe just paint it on a card or something like they do at Lowes and Home Depot.

Maybe just paint it on a card or something like they do at Lowes and Home Depot. the ca m24 has a yes a light woodland and the bar-10 has a normal woodland, the dark is mostly brown and shades of green. base coat brown unlike the other two that have tan, ill also see if I have any other examples of other jobs I bolded the prices but here they are again this is a rough estimate depending on work wanted and paint need however this is usually the standard cost: Paint: 35 Labor: 15 Return shipping: up to buyer but id prefer to send it back via fedex also I have just recieved my tanaka AICS and its rather dissappointing finish will be replaced with the tiger strip I think....possible something else. So it is $50 plus shipping both ways or $50 shipped to you?

50 shipped to me, I don't pay any shipping costs as I wont be making any money that way. paint alone is easily 35 and I spend about 2-4 hours on a job so 20 isnt outrageous its just the shipping back would eat all my profits.

Sounds like a cool gig man. Would you be willing to custom paint Hi-capa grips by chance? I might be picking another one up here shortly and I would love to have some custom painted grips for it seeing as how I am a pathetic artist. Although I don't know what paint to use, I know for a fact it is not spray paint. I have a feeling it is Acrylic, if you have a basic outline of how much it would cost and such that would be great.
Something like these except with a red base coat:

How much would it be if I wanted my G19 black slide painted white (leave the stripes black) and the black outer barrel white?
