Picture Of The Month

Welcome back to POTM. It's been a few months. Please be sure to read through the rules.
_____________________________________
What is the Picture of the Month:
The Picture of the Month (POTM for short) is a friendly contest here at ASF where members have a chance to show off their photography skills.
_____________________________________
The Rules:
1. Each member may only submit one photo.
2. The photo entered must have been taken by the submitter.
3. The photo's subject must pertain to airsoft. But it can be of anything airsoft. A gun, a loadout, a in-action shot, etc.
4. If evidence is found that proofs that you stole someones work, you will be banned from all farther POTMs.
5. If evidence is found of messages or PM's soliciting or bribing members or judges for votes, you will be banned for a select time from POTM.
6. The photo must not contain images or words of a graphic, vulgar, or other nature not pertaining to the site rules.
7. If you are found putting down other peoples work, you will be disqualified from the current POTM and also disqualified to enter the next POTM.
8. There will be no bickering, whining, or complaining over the pictures chosen from the thread; or over the final results.
_____________________________________
The Prize:
Now I know a lot of you would like to see a physical prize, but I do not believe I am allowed, nor do I have the funds to do that. Right now the only prizes are bragging rights, and a userbar (past winners I now have your userbars ready).
In the future, and if the admin allows it, I plan to set up a donation or entry fee (only $1), and then the winner will receive the money.
_____________________________________
Picture Format:
In order to standardize the photo format, please enter your photos in the following form:
--------------------------------------------
Photo Title (if you named it)
Location and Date taken:
Description: A description of what is happening in, who is in, or what is in, your photo.
Misc Info: Any other information you would like us to know, camera used, funny occurrence while taking picture, etc.
--------------------------------------------
Replace Photo Title with your title and [Image] with your photo, but please leave the rest as is and type the asked info after the :. If you do not have any misc info you may remove that section, or place N/A, but please do not leave it blank.
_____________________________________
Jobs Available:
Each contest I will post a list of jobs that you can apply for. If you take some jobs you may not enter the contest that month. Here are the jobs I need for this contest:

Judge: 10 positions open. PM me for details on signing up. Judges may not submit photos.
Graphic Artist: 2 positions open. I need some art and userbars made for the contest. PM me if you would like to help.
Investigators: 2 positions open. In the event that a dispute arises over stolen work, I'll need some help to get it solved. PM me for details. Investigators may not submit photos.
Moderators: 3 positions open. Moderators simply help me watch over the thread to make sure everyone if following the rules. PM me for details. Moderators may or may not submit photos, I have not decided yet.
_____________________________________
Okay ladies and gentleman, fire up your cameras and start taking those pictures. POTM, July 2009 has started!

Ha Ha, nice Whorify.

A side note on the job I need. I would really like to fill the judge positions first. I can do without the other positions for a bit (with the exception of graphic designer, need some work now), but I need judges.

Keep those pictures coming!

The only beautiful M16 that is not covered in accessories.

Date and Location: Date: Spring '09 Location: My backyard

Description: Stock KWA M16BR with Madbull Gemtech Quicksilver Suppressor. I edited this photo to the effect seen, the rifle coming out of the picture, and it takes a long time to get perfect. In fact, it probably isn't even perfect the way it is right now. This is made to show that an M16 does not have to loaded up with expensive accessories to be beautiful.

Something that happened with this photo: I was taking this picture for 30 min, couldn't get my point-and-shoot camera to focus the way I wanted it to. It still didn't, I wanted it to focus more on the silencer. This is why I am getting a DSLR camera.

My mp5

Date and location: about a week ago, in my basement
Description: Cyma Mp5j with flashlight foregrip and custom weathered paintjob, I took this photo for my review and I thought it looked good, so here it is.
I think the gun looks terrible with the dual short magazine so I have a long magazine now. Unfortunately my camera is off in canada with my sister so I cant take a picture with the better looking long mag, but hey, I think it looks pretty good a-grin.gif.

Sorry, picture must be taken by the user.

DutchManDan, that is a very interesting style, I like how the gun sticks out of the frame.

My two loves: My skateboard, and my G&G M4 (proline).

Just a funny thing about my gun, my selector switch says "Okay," "Sh-t," "F--k," for Safe, Semi, and Full. I've got a pic of that if anyone wants me to PM it to them. I don't want to put here in the thread, I may get in trouble for it.

--------------------
If you're tired of seeing that, "put this in your sig," or the "I'm cool because I know the difference between a mag and a clip," bullsh-t, then don't add this to your sig, just sit and nod in agreement.
Got a question about the A&K SR25 or E1 M1014? Please, PM me!
I <3 Jesus
My guns are cooler than yours!
M4 for trade/sale...

uummmm....1944? Was anyone even alive back then?!? I don't think they had Canons back then either a-confused.gif

Otherwise its a cool picture, but I feel like I still have a good chance of winning.

Looks like there was someone or something that he didn't want there and erased it and then blurred the surroundings to cover the hole.

I really like the angle of the picture, sniper07.

DiamondBack Tactical Modular Assault Pack (Patrol Pack, they call it)

Taken in my backyard, taken 15 JUN 09, at 1945 hours.

Showing off my (then new) DBT MAP, which is attached to my EI Plate Carrier with cummerbund, set over my Pantac replica PACA low-pro armor carrier. Also seen are SafariLand DoubleCuffs in black. Rig and pack are in cool-guy Crye Precision MultiCam.

Don't forget the two empty (or so they appear, it's funnier this way anyway) vodka bottles!

The p90 has a NCstar reddot, custom flashlight, homemade mock mock silencer, and s redbull red hop-up bucking and nub. It also has a standard cap magazine.
Taken with a 40$ camera from tj-max.

That is a nice photo sniper07, but what is that blur in the top right corner?

Warp hole! Or, erm, warp slit.

I have a suggestion to fix it better: Tacticool garden gnome.

Lizzard, it's nice to finally see someone with black flexi-cuffs instead of white. They fit in way better.

Yeah, they really do. I was like "hmm, black or white? No contest."
