I cant post on any other topics/catergorys but website can any one help? (Admin) Please I really want to join this communtiy. I heard I need to be sent a valdition e-mail or somethign. Please help!

Your problem seems to be that you are stuck in the "Validating" group.

That is because you have a broken e-mail account. See under your avatar where it says "Group: user_has_broken_email"? You need to make sure that under your personal information that you have entered your e-mail adress correctly. If you have entered it right, then check to see if your e-mail is still working.

Yes, if you are in the Validating Group that means that you have not "validated" or verified that your email address works. We require that all members maintain a working email address at all times. check your Trash or Bulk Mail folder to make sure that the email you received from us was not deleted or considered spam.

If you are using some sort of email challenge system that requires us to prove that we're not spammers before you even get emails, that may be part of your problem as well for I don't always click on those, because I get over 100 emails a day that I have to weed through and don't have time to prove that all the time.

There is a link in the "validation email" that requires you to click on it to confirm that your email address works. If you cannot find the email or not sure if you entered your email address correctly, then log into the board and notice the "Resend validation" link at the top of the board. Click that to get another validation email - it will be send to you almost immediately. If you don't get that one either in 10 minutes or less, you will need to contact an administrator from this page: http://www.airsoftforum.com/contact.htm

If you have been here for awhile and your account has stopped working for some strange reason, check to see if you have been moved to a member group called, "user_has_broken_email". This means that we have grown tired of getting all your bounced email messages and have suspended your account until you can provide an email address that works.

To fix this problem, simply contact an administrator and explain what your problem is OR - go to the member controls area and change your email address. Once you validate your noew email address, you will get moved to the "members" group and you will once again be able to post.

I posted this in battlepriest's topic, but I suggest that a way for people to
be able to post, and still keep their username (I love mine, even though my call is ghost).

How about deleting users, and then having them re-join under the same username,
but after (obviously) the bug was dealt with.

I know it sound stupidly simple, but I think that it's a good idea. I'm the admin for
my team's airsoft site, as well as an admin on my favorite game's clan site, and
I know that with an invision power board, you can delete users in a New York second.
(my clan's site isn't an invisionfree site, or an invision power board, but it's similarily
designed, so that admin controls are layed out in a convienent way).

I volunteer to be the first to try this expiriment.

Yeah I am having problems not recieving that email either. My email address was typed in correctly and I even tryed changing it to my yahoo account but it it wouldn't let me had something to do with my first one not being validated.

what email service are you using?

sorry may sound dumb I am new here. I am also having trouble recieving the validation e-mail. I requested one several times, and even left my computer for a few hours. nothing. my spam filter is disabled as well, and I still have not recieved one. my email address is correct and everything. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same problem, Im not sure why, but I think I did join in december.


well, it seems Ive answered my own questions by simply resending the vcalidation email and following the validation link.
