I have owned both guns, this is what you need to ask yourself
A) are you looking to upgrade? B ) are you strong C) do you have lots of money answer to A- if you are looking to upgrade you want to buy the aps2 ex b- if you are not very strog I would not buy it, the bolt is can get very hard to pull c- you will need lots of money for the EX if you buy the tanaka m700, you can adjust the fps from 450-550fps by turning a little wheel. the aps2 you can upgrade higher but is a very hard bolt to pull back. if you do buy the tanaka m700 I would highly suggest getting a tighbore barrel. the m700 I spent 500$ on, my aps2 I have spent 1250 ish on. the aps2 might be more accuarate but the m700 you can pull the bolt back with your pinky, and the open port looks very cool. note- don't remove the hop up on the m700, there is no replace ment parts and thats how you brake the gun This post has been edited by undercovercqb: Dec 14 2004, 08:35 PM -------------------- *** Img removed by Moderator OpSic66. I asked this question because my friend has his super 9 for a while and loved it, now he wants to step up an notch and get a better gun. I figured a Tanaka M700 for his buget would be a great stock gun, unlike the APS 2 Ex since to make that gun good would cost up to like what you said. So for the price I believe a Tanaka stock versus an APS ex stock, the Tanaka would be the better buy through research I have done.
And of course my friend has "A" and "B" covered but not "C" So Correct me if I am wrong or just have any other alternatives |

no, your right, make sure he buys the pcs version or "power control system", also tell him to NEVER EVER touch the hop up unless he is adjusting it
