While browsing through wwiiguns.com, I saw that they are taking reservations for top's long awaited mp-40, and saying it would be released this month(December). Can anyone confirm or deny this?

top came out with an mp40 a long time ago

Anyways, its about time it comes out!!! I heard from the guys at Endoshoeji, UN Company, and Red Wolf , and Soft Air USA that they are releasing it sometime before the 25th of Dec. They were more than sure, but you never know.

MP40 is my all time favoite. I am so excited!!!

Yea, I can't wait either. My problem is, on wwiiguns.com it said the price was like $550 or something close to that. Is that true? Theres no way an aeg modeled after an mp-40, even if full metal, should come close to $550. I think it's gotta be a typo. Can anyone out there confirm or deny the price I saw?

the mp 40 made by top came out in the early 90's it is a classic gun, it has been out for 15 years

That would the Asahi Mp-40.

Anyways, I don't think the TOP Mp-40 will perform too well, considering the performance of other TOP weapons. Personally, I'm just going to buy the Asahi one.

But you're wrong, it is. It might not be coming out in Dec., but Top announced they were releasing an mp-40 aeg, so eventually they are, unless they go out of buisness b/c of crappy m60s and m249s.

IT WONT COME OUT! why are no other websites reporting this except for some very small one? why is no one talking about it? why have I heard this same story almost more than a year ago? it didnt get past the idea, and it wont, im very sorry but you will have to buy ashai. I will bet you my whole airsoft collection that it wont come out.

A friend of mine was the the Black Hole show in Tokyo and Top has a prototype already made. They made a whole new gearbox to fit, and some type of new battery. They wouldn't do this unless they were planning on actually making one.

As for theonly 2 websites that advertise it........well uhhh....check Top's website. The airsoft store here in my town even has news about it straight from Top themselves.

The one thats been out for decades is the Asahi one. You said 'same difference'. How is a Marushin PFC gun converted to external gas the same as an AEG thats full metal made by Top? Excuse me for being rude but you need to get your stuff straight.

don't believe me? check the 2000 issue number 7 of combat magazine page 156 and they have a top mp40, that is almost four years ago, and I know the difference between top and ashai (Yahshua, The , Emanual - That's my name, don't use it in vain) , its not

also becauase they had it at a show doesnt meen it is coming out soon. TM has had there m14 on the show room since agust

Wow, lets not get into an arguement here. Lets just say that if we're wrong, we'll eat our words, and if you're wrong(like you most likely are), then you can feel like an explicative. I just don't see the reasoning behind doing all this special stuff to make an mp-40, then scrapping the idea. I'm sure a decent priced mp-40 would sell like hotcakes, even if it was made by top. Let's just wait till the end of Dec. and see, and lets use our inside voices.

im not I am just saying they have said it has been going to come out for 4 years, I just don't think it will come out december, eventually probably, but not decemer that is all I am saying
