Yes I do. I can't wait either but it has been pushed back for so long that I just stopped caring, and the fact it's going to cost 400-500 dollars.

Today is January 25.

Here's an excerpt from the Blackhole 2005 Review by RedWolf:
QUOTE
Moving away from the Marui booth, we also came upon the TOP booth were a vast display of M60's and M249's caught our eye. But what was really causing a lot of commotion was a fully functional MP40 AEG. According to TOP, this MP40 is made from pressed-metal, which is exactly the same method used on the real MP40. While this increases costs, it gives the MP40 AEG intense realism. We were one of the privileged few allowed to test fire the MP40 and it feels heavy and rigid. The rate of fire is slightly slow than that of an M60 though the sound of the gearbox is very similar. The removeable magazine is heavy, and a metal hop-up dial inside the ejection chamber allows tuning of the BB's trajectory. The ejection port is revealed by pulling back on the :censored2:ing lever.

No date has been set for the release of the MP40, but based on how final the gun looks, we estimate it to be released in the next few months. TOP is also rumored to be working on several other large AEG models and we'll share more as the news is confirmed.

Will this gun use the bellows system or will it use a TM style piston gearbox?

Could you bring them back on a plane? I would think US customs would have a heart attack if they saw a bunch of gun's in a box.

Sweet. I'm taking chinesse next year that way when I'm a senior I can go to china, and I'll bring back a couple airsoft guns for myself.

It would be kinda cool for a second to see like swat boarding the plane asking "wheres the guns wheres the guns" or at least until they would figure out that you brought them on the plane and then cuffed you and put you in a cop car. Then you ecape from them and run away. Then your on america's most wanted. And you come back and try to prove your incense without them seeing you. And your in a dramatic seen by a cliff screaming " I didn't do it I didn't do it"

I think I just stated the whole premis of the fugitive.

Sorry I'm stupid and weird I know

either way when it does come out its about $400 -$500 overseas. If you wait for the US to get it who knows how long that will take and who knows how much more it will be.

Just take a side trip to Russia. I don't think they're illegal there. Plus you can get in on the caviar mafia and make some bucks. greedy.gif Then you can bribe your way through customs.

But I thought dealers stopped using black tape because people's stuff kept getting seized at customs. Otherwise why would they have switched to putty and dremel/burning (sounds bad just saying it)? Black tape is definitely cheaper than putty/dremel/burning and is about a million times faster (no equipment/set up time/cooling time/drying time). Plus more people would buy from your store if you used electric tape instead of dremels.
Besides would copyrights on a 50+ year old trademark on the MP40 still be valid considering they would have been with a government that no longer exists?

black tape allows you to just take it off easily and it blends in, but real guns are still illigal in japan

It doesn't offend me really, I realize that they are trying to advertise that its a German WWII weapon. Whats ironic is that I use an Asahi MP40, I should be using an Uzi, but oh well.

Somewhere saw classic airsoft galeils (however it is spelled). It looked pretty cool but I didn't think about buying it- too expensive.

Galil (correct spelling here I am now fairly sure) was an Israeli assault rifle that was based off the AK.
