the only popular gun being the XM8. But it will soon unless terrorists get rich and buy SIGS from Switzerland (in which case the sig will see battle against the XM8 on 2 fronts). Both cases mean we're screwed. The only reason we can hope to win is technology. Their structure is much safer than ours.
But will top come up with a sturgewehr 44(mp44)? I want an AEG that can at least compare to the SHoei because I would probably prefer a car to a GBB rifle I won't use but 2x a month. This post has been edited by Sturmgewehr: Jan 31 2005, 08:12 PM -------------------- ASF Staff 2005-2008

Ehh, thats not necessarily true. It's possible some company will make an mp-44, lord knows theres a market for it. Give it time bud, give it time.
In other news, arniesairsoft.co.uk has said that the top mp-40 is set for a late feburary release and for around 480 buckeroos. Start saving up kiddos, this isn't going to be a cheap gun. -------------------- Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned

$480? What I heard is that it will be from $580 to $680, correct me from wrong. I think Top realizes that it will appeal to ALL airsofters no matter your impression (don't need to dress up like a Wehrmacht or SS soldier). The MP40 is used by many rebels and terrorists to this day, and might be the gun thats appeard in most movies. Its pretty much an all around bad guy gun.
Then again, you can throw on a leather jacket, brown fedora, whip, revolver, and use an MP40.....voila, you are the worlds best action adventure character of all time! If you don't know who I am talking about get a life. -------------------- Chen Kenichi

At arnies airsoft I saw something within the past few days saying that some retailer in japan or hk that got news directly from top that it would be released late feb. and cost 498000 yen. When I did the conversion it came out to 479 and somethin cents. So....it's gunna be cheaper and more affordable then you expected. :)

They should be able to be purchased whereever the gun can be........
as for price, normal I'd say, and as for capacity, I bet they'll have standards and high caps. -------------------- Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned
