I seem to talk to much sometimes, so ill try to make this short. I will be making a custom built zombie m4. Buying a base gun is much more practical. I will be having a decent amount of money.
I plan to use this gun as my base. I also want it to look like a casv m4. ~$290 shipped ![]() This gun has the G&P body I want, and partially the look....kinda. for now, I will probably want either a battery in my handguard, or in a buffer tube. When I get the king arms casv I want, I may keep the battery in the handguard. Does it have more space than a buffer tube? I will want a lipo for sure. no PEQ's. I will replace wiring, and get deans. List: Prometheus hs gears $103 shipped. hefty price... AoE SW-Panther Mosfet $70 shipped Deans ~$6 G&P m4 ~$290 shipped battery ~$35 shipped lipo buzzer ~$5 So far looking at over $509 I need opinions, suggestions, and solutions. If you were to complain about something, please, tell me why, or what may be done to have it better in your eyes. thanks for looking! No reason to get a complete Systema gearbox when the G&P already has plenty good internals. If you want to make this thing high speed, just replace the gears with some Prometheus high speeds, possibly put in a new piston, install a MOSFET/Deans, and you're good. I'd also keep the G&P M120 motor as opposed to a Systema Turbo, or risk making your cyclic rate dangerously fast. In my MP5, I have some Prometheus high speed gears, a MOSFET, and the M120 motor. With a partially charged 11.1v lipo I got 36 rps, which is crazy.

WTF?!?! dude 36bps?!?!?! ok, I was only HOPING for 30rps, but if itll go that high, then yeah, ill just stick with what you said man. With what spring and fps also? I was hoping for anything under 350, preferrable just under, I have my own m110 spring I can use.
That will give me a faster trigger response (G&P m120), which will be good. ill update it when I get a chance, my topic. my parents are trying to make me do my homework, but........what they don't know wont hurt em lol....so ill just update it tonight.....stupid homework -------------------- ![]() He who loves silver will not be fully satisfied with silver - Ecclesiastes 5:10 |

If you are going for a better trigger response, you should probably go with a different motor, because while the G&P M120 has a great rate of fire and is very reliable, the trigger response is lacking. -------------------- Hiatus over.

G&P gears aren't as good as you think. Their gear shafts are known for breaking.

I doubt it, G&P gears seem to have a reputation for broken axles. G&P gears aren't as good as you think. Their gear shafts are known for breaking. What....? -------------------- ![]() |

Personally I would get a G&P model that already has a rain system on it. The cqb field I go to does a lot of zombie games and quite a few players have zombie guns with peq boxes, eotechs, silencers, and rails and they look very nice

ill be getting the rails later, becaue of the $$$, getting the king arms casv rail system, short barrel, zombie silencer, zombie silencer will stick out the rail system.there is no other base gun with the G&P metal body trademarks and a casv, so im going with this one for now. and no peq's! don't like peq's. I will def be getting a 552 eotech
I already said G&P gears aernt that great. I deleted that section in my edit. I wasnt implying that I wanted a better trigger response, I was saying that the m120 motor will get a slightly better trigger response than the turbo, along with not being too fast. any other opinions on the list I have? like any other good batteries or anything that would fit in the buffer tube or handguard that would be better? if you don't end up getting a casv you could house your battery in a crane stock. I find them very comfy and keep your gun looking clean

I will most likely be getting a casv with the zombie silencer going through it and out. im pretty sure I could house a larger battery in the casv, so I may do that instead once I get it. it all depends....

That battery won't fit. I had one, it's pretty thick.

That battery won't fit. I had one, it's pretty thick. Yup, the King Arms CASV will only take a small battery, and as far as I know, the DBoys version has protusions on the inside of the rail system that have to be filed down before it will take any battery at all. The CASV is one schweet looking RIS, but I'm not sure how practical it is as your battery compartment. -------------------- Some pics from the collection: Eight Different M16s and M4s & Ten Pistols

thats why you get a crane stock kit
this will hold a crane type battery and look awesome on a zombie killer casv. khm also has crane lipo nunchucks and d-boys casv's. along with element large capacity silver wire kits to wire to the rear. I dunno what kinda wiring comes on a g&p, but the element kits increase rof over even thick copper wiring and they heat up less with lipos d-boys makes some nice stuff actually. the plastic is kinda like nylon fiber or polymer whatever and not like straight out abs better grab yourself a pack of these for your rails too. a zk just isnt complete without some d-boys modular rail covers This post has been edited by Dusti69: Mar 20 2010, 08:25 AM -------------------- |

Yes I understand dboys is good and cheaper, but I want the best of the best. its just me, im like that, like a perfectionist I guess. The king arms is made full metal and aluminum. It has a detachable front flip up sight, and moveable rails.
I just now found a 12v 1600mah battery pack for the king arms casv from dentrinityshop, I will definetely be getting that here. they also have another 10.8v 1600mah, and a 9.6v 2000mah variants that say can fit it. $40 ![]() What kind of lipo would fit in this m4 handguard, or if better, the buffer tube? right now, that m4 im getting is wired to the front, so ill have to make more modifications if I need it to the back, so just keep that in mind. What may work the best for me? the handguard will be temporary until I can get my hands on a casv, not to mention which one, the casv-m or the casv-el... bump. I am allowed to bump, so don't tell me to read any rules, I have. see here (read "the act of double posting......")
so, is anyone pretty sure that battery above would fit, once I get my king arms casv? and what about the panther mosfet and lipo buzzer, im still confused on how im gonna do that too! what I really need to know for right now is, what kind of 11.1v lipo can I fit into the m4 handguard temporarily, until I get my casv system? or should I just keep saving up for the casv and get it altogether? *Note that if I wire to the buffer tube for the battery, that this base gun is already wired to the front, so Im guessing some modding would need to be done, and no peq's!!!
