So I don't know if any of you guys have noticed, but ive been absent from chat the past couple of days as my laptos given up the ghost. Im now down to my ipod touch as my sole form of connecting to the internet. It serves me pretty well for everything but chat. It just wont load. Like, it asks for the first set of passwords and when I type the in, it waits a couple of seconds before asking for them again. So does anyone know how, if its at all possible, to get it to work?
I tried using a different web browser app but it does the same thing. -------------------- If your parents don't pay for airsoft, put this in your Sig.

I don't think it will work. I've tried getting on chat via my iTouch, but it doesn't support flash, so its a no-go.

is it jailbroken? you can get a kind of flash if you jailbreak but I doubt it. so glad I sold my ipod and got an evo :-)

You can do it with a non-jailbroken Ipod if you get the app "Cloudbrowse" which is essentially a remote desktop app. It lets you use a remote desktop to do your internetting, which includes visiting flash sites. It disconnects your session every once and a while to "let other people try it" which leads me to believe it's subscription based and not worth it.

I have a touch and an iPad which I am using now, they bothnwork for me. No it is not jail broken.

As far as I know, with on-board computing being the concern the only mobile platform that can support Flashchat is Android Froyo.

The problem I found with using an itouch(via cloudbrowse) was that the chat screen was tiny and basically unusable. It certainly is much easier to use the chat via a full size computer or laptop.

Ok, Since you can't post into the section of the forum dedicated to things non-airsoft, I won't break the rules and I won't post at all. Instead, I well apply for an elite membership and access to the Off Topic subforums. I also will not "thread jack", and when I'm an Elite member, I will make my own thread. This can save the moderators the trouble of either deleting my post or closing the thread. C'mon newer members! Read the rules and do something special for the mods by making their jobs here just a little bit easier this holiday season!
