Does anyone else notice the hundreds, if not thousands of youtube videos showing kids running around with airsoft guns with no protection or care in the middle of the street? It pisses me off to no end. Sure there are some great videos on there, but the majority of them is making airsoft look like a bunch of punks shooting eachother in the middle of the street. We need more REAL videos of TRUE airsoft on there, not all that "backyard" or even "frontyard" crap we see.

Agree with you all the way...Just saw a review of a AGM M14...kid had no clue what he was talking about...What a Newbie...horrible video quality, horrible sound quality...just sad...sad sad sad...then I saw a vid of these guys, runing around with cheap walmart guns...they thought it was a kool vid, thought they were so awsome...and I saw a whole bunch of posts saying they were kool...then I also found real hard core airsofteres giveing them the lecture they diserved....THE KIDS WERNT EVEN WEARING ANYHTING AS EYE PROTECTION EXCEPT FOR THEIR NERDY GLASSES!!! Dang I can wait till one of them loses an eye...Vids like that should be deleted....

I'm flagging every video of this crap I see. If everyone else on here does to, it will hopefully shrink the sheer numbers of them.

This is a horrible example of an airsoft video. Imagine some kid wondering what airsoft is, and he finds this. Yeah, that video is really helping airsoft out a lot.

I have found that you have to be very specific with your searches so you don't see this kind of video.

thats a good one, I just can't get over the sheer numbers of the people involved.

As for that one video you really hate I flagged it. It should get taken off of youtube ASAP.

Backyard airsoft is here to stay. It WILL be played and the backyarders are the only reason the sport has survived in america. the backyarders outnumber the "real" airsofters by an alarming ratio. thats the way it is and will be. sorry.
Also what they did does not constitute a terms of use violation on youtube. Censoring it because you don't like it is literaly facism.

He wasnt wearing eye protection. It could easily give kids the idea that they do not need it either. That needs to be removed.

If you call airsoft toys your wrong, yeah there are low quality replicas used by newbie idiots like the ones in this video.
But serious airsofters spend As much as $500 on high quality replicas.
And over 15 countries use these ("TOYS") to train there millitary.
The only thing making these guns unrealistic is that they have an orange tip and shoot a 6mm bb's.
and ill bet you 90% of all serious airsofters Have shot or own real guns.

Wow. Agreed. There's nothing else I can add. Hopefully the numbers of true airsofters will be able to buoy the sinking reputation the sport is getting in the sea of negative media.

Flagging is a good start but, what we really need to do is actually message the Youtube HQ and tell them our concern for such a serious safety risk.

youtube HQ wont do jack, unless maybe 10,000 people tell them daily theyll notice the pleas of REAl airsofters. but of all the mumbo jumbo they probably get daily, theyre not worried about videos of little kids being idiots in their front yards.
