Hey guys. I am hopefully gonna start a VSR sniper project in the next few weeks. Its something I have always wanted to do, and I can finally afford it now with a summer job and all. Now, my current parts list is:
TM VSR-10 $195
Scope Mount $12.00
EdGI Custom 6.01 Bull Barrel (Ported) $80.00
EdGI VSR-10 Pro Barrel Spacers $15.00
Laylax VSR-10 Zero Trigger w/ Piston $180.00
Laylax VSR-10 Teflon Cylinder $110.00
Laylax VSR-10 Cylinder Head $27.00
Laylax VSR-10 Spring Guide w/Bearing $31.00
Laylax VSR-10 150SP Spring $20.00
Nine Ball VSR-10 Hop Up Bucking $17.00
Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Magazine (x2) $18.00
Mad Bull .40 Gram 2000 BBs $18.00
Grand Total: $733
Now what I am wondering is, are the PDI parts better than Laylax ones? I have heard yes, but yet it seems like so many people use the Laylax parts. I do see a fair amount of people having trouble installing their Laylax parts and with their parts in general, but I'm fairly sure its just because of how many people use the parts. As opposed to PDI parts, which almost no one uses. So, what are your opinions?
Also, while I am here, I had a question about the Zero Trigger. Is there any special modifications that need to be made to the body for it to fit? I thought I remembered hearing something about it with the Bar-10, but I am not sure if this carries over to the VSR-10 as well.
Thanks for all your help!
