Hi, I have a couple questions about the M40A1 made by Tanaka.

It dosent seem to be very popular, any reason?
Is it pretty reliable (I know about the lack of replacement parts)
Accuracy? About the same as the M700?
Is it really 360 FPS?

Thats all, The reason I don't go for the M700 is because it is to powerful of a gun out of the box... If I were to get the M40A1 if I needed the boost of FPS for some reason I could just use Green Gas.

Thanks in advance,

Well one thing about Tanakas, same gun for the most part... Different stocks. And I think all newer rifles have the PCS bolt. The Pegasus system is in them all though. The M40A1 was just released so it has not gathered momentum yet with players. It should hit just has hard as the others. So if that is an issue, use 134a.

I was looking at one review on the M700 and the guy stated that if the magazine was manually pushed into the slot it would shoot harder because there was less gas leakage? Is this true with all Tanaka Rifles? I really like gas rifles just because I can make it shoot harder or weaker depending on the field limitations with different types of gas. So with 134a I should expect and average of 380 and with green gas around 450-500?

Thanks again,
Justin
