-Gloves (cut off at knuckles)
-Sometimes I also sport a Patriots or Red Sox hat instead of the Bonnie

its a pretty nice change of pace sometimes I get bored of just playing with a full set of BDU's and a Vest

also its looking kind of poor I just got my paycheck....additions to me more look more like a mercenary are more then welcome....Also I am considering scraping the Idea and going for a Russian Soldier look but, I would like to explore this a bit more

im trying to make a cool looking mercenary type load out that looks like something a guy from Blackwater would wear

Blackwater usually runs Kacki Cargo Pants (5.11 types or Blackhawk, or plain tan BDU pants) some type of Polo shirt with a MOLLE plate carrier setup. Throw on a standard baseball cap or something similar. normally tend to run American weapons (M4) but there is nothing wrong with an AK, makes a lot of sense for an overseas setup.

A mercenary and a PMC are two different things.

not really...the definition can be skewed from person to person...in my personal opinion they are...they aren't serving any country...they are working with a company...

Mercenary :A persion hired for service in the army of a foreign country
Private Military Contractor: individual that provides products or services to a defense department of a government.

...they look very similar to me...PMC just doesnt have the same effect

Two VERY different things.

Mercs fight for foreign countries, and can be a substitute for a military force.

Contractors fight for their own country, or their countries Allies (IE, we have British PMCs guarding some of out stuff in A-Stan). Also they are only there fore defensive security purposes, not offensive, so they cant replace common military forces.

Contractors don't "fight". They are attacked and defend themselves.

A Merc works for the highest bidder. Paid in cash and is and OUTLAW or traitor or deserter form another countries army!

A PMC is A hired professional that spent years serving his country in their armed forces. if you look at getting hired by Blackwater they require at least 5years of Military service in the SF units or 10 years in the infantry. You are also required to wear a suit and tie to the interview. YOU GO TO AN INTERVIEW! A merc just has to prove he can shoot a gun. A PMC must prove he knows how to defend a Ambassador or Important political leader.

dude, great job describing a picture and all, but contractors don't have a set standard loadout. that contractor is working in a very very cold zone. he is escorting some hotshot business man or political person or something in a suit. if you want to go off that picture, go for it, but you will look kind of foolish running around an airsoft facility or field with khakis and a polo. to the thread starter, if you really want help with a PMC loadout, talk to dfish. he will help you out while im out of town

I don't play at fields....I have a group of 10-18 or so friends who play in an abandoned farmhouse(for CQB) and field owned by a family friend....

I ran the entire time at Codename Thunder III in That exact loadout (with a 5.11 vest on top). We actually had about 7-10 guys running that same uniform all day. Samething with Codename Thunder II. I think DFish might have seen me at thunder III

Good luck getting some Blackwater Apperal, They are a PSC or PC or even PMC. So last thing they are going to do is start making apperal. Most of the PC guys working over their are supposed to blend in better than the Secret Service guarding Bill Clinton. So having a shirt that says in big letters on back "Blackwater" would get them shot like a guy in a ACU .Also they won't throw that vest and assault rifle on untill the situation gets hot and they have to evacuate the target. The only time you see them like that is when they are in a bad neighbor hood [ Most of Baghdad ] or they are on escort in a congested place in which case they want to instill fear on local populance so they will stay away from the target... Blackwater is not a nice company, they don't have R.O.E. So most of the populance runs When the see High-End SUVs coming down the road...They know bad things happen to those SUVs or people whom pose a threat or look suspious.
