I highly, highly doubt that it will shoot 600 fps.

shooting 40 rps? Then it wont be anywhere near 600, or 500, not even 400.

these guys at nashville airsoft, are some of the best Airsoft techs there are.

If they say thats what it shoots at. thats what it does.

I believe the video I was responding to Koldasice, saying his team SAW shoots at 40 rps.

I have seen this SAW in person and the people who have built it and all I have to say is.... YES it does exist and NO they havent had to replaced any parts since they upgraded it. I have my SAW there current being worked on and they are putting those similar parts into mine.

but that much FPS on a SAW is freakin retarded.

To be putting that many rounds down range at that FPS is asking for someone to get unnecessarily injured. After all, is there even an Airsoft feild in this country that will even let anyone USE that? 600FPS is restricted into the 'Bolt Action only' catagory everywhere that I have ever seen.

I mean, if its just being used for fun, thatn thats sweet. but putting it on a feild of play is down right dangerous...

There is a big group that insists on playing unlimited FPS games.
I think they need their heads examined.
It is not a matter of "if: some one gets hurt seriously but a question of "when".
I choose not to play with the people that have no FPS limits. I don't enjoy pain.
Many of them think that higher fps makes them a better player. When in fact they tend to be the ones in the rear not doing anything but long balling. Then they get upset because you don't call hits. So they think they need to shoot at even higher fps.
At 600 FPS you are aproaching .22 short ballistics. Not many people will let you shoot them with a .22 short...

Some old Winchester rifles only hit 800 fps.
