I am selling off the rest of my SR-25 items if anyone is interested. Items include Prommy inner barrel, scope, bipod, magazines, magpuls, mosfets, and more. PM me for more info.
---------------------------------------- I started off airsoft playing small games with springers on my friends backwoods property (far away from others and in a fenced in area so no one could walk into the game). Later I moved on and found a new group of airsofters who were a bit more serious. I played quite a few games using borrowed AEG's (CA, G&G, TM, etc) and was able to learn a lot about the different kinds of guns. I decided I wanted to buy my very own gun so I researched and bought a JG Bar-10. It was a good first gun, I upgraded it to the max with EdGI parts and had some good times on the field with it. I could get consistent shots out to 300ft with it. But there were times when I still wanted the option of a faster ROF. I sold the Bar-10 to raise funds for my next project. I played with a upgraded CA SG1 for a long while after selling the Bar-10. I went through a few more AEG's before finally deciding on a new path... I usually provide long-range support for my team. What does that mean? It means I lay down rapid fire accurate shots at a distance. For this reason I decided to start a DMR project. For my base gun I chose an A&K SR-25. Great base gun, and pretty accurate right out of the box. I then bought a Prometheus 509mm inner barrel, a 3-9x40 scope, Harris-style bipod, and a few extra magazines (two G&P mid-caps, and 1 more A&K hi-cap). I decided to hold off installing the new inner barrel until I purchased a new bucking and SCS nub. When finished I plan to have the gun shooting around 500fps to comply with most field semi-auto rules and modify the selector switch to have a quick change pin so I can have semi-auto only, or the option to have full-auto too (but not so easy as it can be done on the field). Here is my dream setup for my SR-25 --------------------------------------- Base: A&K SR-25 - Check Accessories: M3 Green Illuminated Scope - Currently I only have a NC Star 3-9x40 red illuminated. 30mm scope rings with railed front ring. Doctor style red dot sight mounted on M1 scope. Harris Bipod - Check, but still need RIS adapter. 7.62mm Magpuls - Check Externals: G&P Extension Scope Base - Still need to get. 3x Magpul XT Rail Covers (left, right, and bottom rails right in front of the magazine well) - Still need to get. G&P SR-25 Sniper Stock - Still need to get, but might not if it can't hold a battery. Star Knights Type Trigger Guard - Still need to get. MagPul PTS MIAD Grip - Still need to get. G&G QD Sling Mount for RIS - Still need to get. And lastly I'm still debating on an ambidextrous magazine release. If I get one, I would find a way to mold a guard around it on the left hand side. Internals: Prommy 509mm TBB - Check Systema Bucking - Just bought, on it's way. SCS Nub - Just bought, on it's way. CA Torque Up Gearset - Still need to get. G&P SR-25 Tappet Plate - Still need to get. CA SR-25 Bore-up Kit - Still need to get. Prometheus NEO Strike Hop-Up - Still need to get. Systema M150 Spring - Still need to get. Prommy Ball Bearing Spring Guide - Still need to get. G&P Full Tooth SR-25 Piston - Still need to get. AB Mosfet - Check Wired to Dean Plugs - Still need to do. Notice I didn't list a motor. The stock motor is a beast and I'm going to test her with the M150 before replacing. Magazines: 4x G&P 180rd Midcaps - I have two so far, still need two more. 2x A&K Highcaps - Check, these are for backup and stay in my backpack. A&K Motorized Box Mag - I really just want to find a gutted model, this is only for the "funny" factor. Maybe's: Prommy Straight Trigger JBU replacement charging handle latch. KA Folding RIS Grip placed with in front of the bottom XT cover. Aligned so it folds forward. ------------------------------------------------ -------------------- ![]() Signature graphic made by Onikozah My Sale Thread: SR-25 magazines, scopes, pistols, thread adapter, propane adapter, claymores, and more!
