So the Bore up piston seat fits like crap and does not seat and frankly it does not even screw in properly, it wobbles. See other post on this. Looking at what others did, noobie in particular, I just applied some of that.

I did this because I think I know what caused my accuracy problem I mentioned in my other post. The compression was not good in my estimation and with super strong springs the piston will rocket into the end cap and slam before the BB leaves the barrel as air escapes. This is especially likely with a loose 6.04 barrel I used. I have a new 6.01 500 mm now just not put it together yet. I mean when the piston hit, it was jarring.

In this pic the rear guide is not on so you can see how it looks and the changes are shown on the graphic. The airbrake is aluminum and the head itself is threaded and the airbrake is both counter sunk 1/2 way into the head and threaded through the entire head with red thread lock.

You can see the o-rig difference as well. If you use spray silicone lube you's be surprised what fits and slides perfectly where before you would have thought it too tight. I have the Palsonite B up cylinder btw.

I made 2 pistons and tested them today in a partially complete gun. It is WAY quieter. Also on my second air brake piston I did not use a tapered grommet and it is super quiet as well. The combo of airbrake and PDI front face O-rig seems to work. In addition made a tapered seat as shown in the graphic and in preliminary testing the trigger seems to release easier. Not sure how it will work or if it will be any different one all together under full load but it was worth a shot and it seems to have merit.

The picture is not to scale but the tapered seat fact is actually thicker than the 90 degree face. That is what is nice about starting with the 45 degree seats. Tons of material to work with.
