I have been researching, and it seems to be a hit or miss with AEP that isn't made by TM. But I don't want to spend to much cash on airsoft, so I am looking for something cheap for "backyard airsoft".
I just want a reliable AEP that works for a decent price, so maybe if their is someone out there who can enlighten me.

What I have come down to is the:
Cyma Glock(I heard that it will be hard to find now.)
R2 Well Skorpion

Can I ask you a question?
If you're going to play in your backyard, which is really stupid, and you come on a board where all sorts of stuff about how "backyard airsoft" is bad is splattered everywhere, how can you use those exact words?

Isn't backyard airsoft when you play in the woods with permission by the person who owns it and your out of sight from public? If it is and your upset about it, fine I guess don't answer my question and I will take it elsewhere. I don't know why you would hate against it, since the people I play with all have paintball mask, since we all come from from paintball, and we heard it is best to use those mask anywhere. Generally, the people I play with all follow safety precautions, since paintball has zero tolerance for not being safe, and we grew up around that.

If you don't have any helpful info and just trying to put me down, then don't post. If you going to still post to insult me, at least tell me how to fix what I am doing wrong.

I honestly don't think backyard airsoft (literally, in your backyard) is a bad thing if you are just shooting targets and such. Just let your neighbors know that you are shooting cans/bottles/fruit.

I'm pretty sure the meaning of backyard airsoft everyone here is referring to is when you go onto private property or a woodland area where pedestrians go to walk their dogs or jog etc. That is a pretty bad idea. But if where you are playing is on private property, you have permission from whoever owns the land, and it truly is out of sight from the public, then you are doing nothing wrong.

But to your original question... I do not have an answer =P

Any of the cyma models should be basically comparable quality-wise. Since the Glock is a full TM copy instead of the TM copied GB shoehorned into a different shell, they tend to be more popular because of mag, externals, & misc addon interchange.

Both are good but both have problems, the Glock has some problems where the selector switch will fail(also do not buy the Cyma highcap mags for the glock they are the worst) and the Skorp has some hopup problems. I would go with the Skorp since It is different and I allready own a glock and also it can be used as a primary.
