THIS IS NOT A WHICH GUN QUESTION

I am a big fan of everything M4/M16 related and my favorite company is G&P. So what is your favorite company when you are looking for a new M4?

Please revise with VFC as an identified option (rather than just "other").

This topic should be changed to standard gearbox AEG's...

Ok I threw AEG in the title and added VFC. I say we stick with whole guns and since systema only makes AEG internals and PTWs I will leave them out.

Not specific enough, put Airsoft's Best V2 gearbox M4 AEG as the title, which in my opinion is G&P, for externals, KWA for internals, Tokyo Marui for best bang for your buck (since they last forever), and best overall being the new KWAs since there pretty good externally and super solid internally. I also put E1/JG for the worst overall.

The primary reason Tokyo Marui guns last so long is because they only shoot 280 fps out of the box. I would say KWA is the best bang for your buck. For only $30 more than the Marui, you get a gun with much stronger internals and a metal body.

not true, TM has better overall quality parts from barrel to motor than any JG or "clone", except maybe bushings. That's fact!

Systema PTW for all Pro options, JG for the Con option. Again more fact than opinion, this thread needs more specifics.

The primary reason Tokyo Marui guns last so long is their precise Japanese manufacturing and quality control, unsurpassed in the airsoft world. Each part of a Marui gun is built to exacting specifications and minuscule tolerances to fit perfectly and function flawlessly.

That's because since TM isn't allowed to make powerful guns, they put
their efforts elsewhere: Range, reliability, and accuracy.

For the Japan market, they are the best.

it's not that they aren't allowed to, because they could. They mainly market to Japan, that's why they are 1. low powered and 2. expensive once they get to US stores. If Marui marketed gun to the US(as in models they wouldn't release to the Japanese public) they could make them as powerful as they wanted them, and they would still use higher quality parts than clones and even some other higher end guns. Not to mention they would be easier to get making them cheaper once they get to the US stores.

Japan has FPS laws... They can't have anything over 1J.

People weren't appealed to TM because they made low-powered guns,
TM manufactered their guns to the Japanese market specifically, they didn't just
make their guns weak on a whim.

Yes, they COULD make guns that appealed the the US market, but why would
they want to? They dominate the Japan market as it is.

I know this, I meant they could manufacture higher velocity guns for sale overseas(as in the US). You completely read my post wrong. I know they dominate the Japanese market because theres only 5 other Japanese manufacturers, and they don't make AEGs. I said they could make them FOR the US market. Take Systema for example, they are produced in Japan, they are made for both the US and the Japanese Market. They make cylinders with diff velocities, and diff type guns. For example the M4a1, they have both a normal version, a MAX version and a MAX2 version. The normal was marketed for both, while the MAX was marketed for US, and MAX2 was marketed for Japan. TM could very well do the same thing and make more money, and it would end up being cheaper for us US buyers. Do you get what I'm saying now?

They can't manufacture more powerful guns, even for another market, unless it was made outside of japan. Tanaka works ceo was arrested for this a while back. But then if something like KJW did when Tanio Koba designed their GBB m4 and Taiwan produced a japan spec model and a rest of the world spec model.

Anyways I think KWA has the best overall M4. King Arms has teh best externals hands down followed by G&P.

Simple. They don't sell blue, gold and red cylinder in Japan. Only in US.
And by the way, Systama ain't that popular in Japan at all. Their main market is here in US.

I know that they aren't all that popular in Japan, and their main market isn't the US, but parts of Europe(even though I agree their main market isn't for Japan period), more people over there have them then here(in fact the US didn't even get its first official distributor until about a year ago(stores just bought direct). As far as the blue gold and red cylinder is concerned they manufacture the MAXs with the red cylinder, and they produce the Mil/Le with the golds, that's the exact thing they do that I was suggesting TM could do, in which Golgo said they couldn't. So my question still remains unanswered.

While I agree they are great airsoft guns I don't think they fall under the M4 AEG category. I figured they would be considered a PTW rather than an AEG.

That's not correct. SystemaUSA was around for several years. They weren't very effective (imho) as a supplier, and Systema Japan got back into the act after several dealers went to them to address supply issues from the USA division. After that, (about a year ago) things got considerably better for them.

Systema is considered a parts company... not that there is anything wrong with the product, but they are a parts maker, not a gun maker... so when they released guns, they were looked at askance by the Japanese market...

TM may be coming to the US market at some point, there have been rumored negotiations since ownership changes have happened... however, their stated focus has been on the Japanese home market for several years.

I did not know that, you learn something every day :)

that's really cool that they may be coming over here, that may mean that those rumors that they might be starting to use even higher quality materials to build their guns might become truth.

I voted G&P KWA G&G KWA and other.
For other I'd say any LPEG.
Tokyo Marui M4's develop the most disgusting barrel wobble and if DBOYs, JG, and other weren't on the list I'd vote TM the worst M4.

Best External: G&P
Best Internal: KWA
Best Bang For Your Buck: KWA
Best Overall: KWA
Worst Overall: Any LPEG, If They Count As AEG's.

Reasons behind it: KWA in my opinion have far superior internals, good externals, and for what they are there cost is brilliant. This therefore led to my vote for the best bang for your buck and also best overall.

Are people stupid? TM being the Worst overall!?!?!?!?! I can't take this poll seriously. TM has the best Internals AND is the best bang for your buck. End of Story. Last time I checked KWA doesn't have a recoil system nor can there guns last forever. Just because its a plastic body doesn't mean its a POS. Kids these days v.v

I definitely agree, this poll is pretty skewed imo.
