I have FS threads on Airsoft Barracks

BTW, I appreciate being PM'd back. Only about 10% of people I PM do the same, the rest I have to assume are just awful people.

AAAHHH!!!!!! So ... Many ... Guns ...

As far as airsoft goes, I first suggest the G&G L85A2, but there is also the G&G G2010 (F2000), the Ares TAR-21, JG or TM AUG, Real Sword Type 97 and Type 97b, and then the TM or Cybergun FAMAS.

I love my G&G L85A2, but I've also put it up to DMR standards, It's very upgradable, you just really have to look around for parts. Check my sig for pics :D

The G&G 2010 has a nice spring feature where you can change the FPS of the gun between CQC and Field fps.

The Ares TAR-21 is nice, but requires some work to become great. The mechbox is mostly Version 2 compatible, meaning it's also very upgradable.

I have a JG AUG, it has feeding issues, other than that it's nice. the JG AUG A3 is very nice. And I expect the TM AUG wouldn't have feeding issues.

the Real Sword Type 97 is decent, but a little expensive for what it is. The mag release is odd and takes some getting used to. I don't know what the insides look like as I don't want to take the mechbox apart. The battery is very odd though, you pretty much have to disassemble the whole gun to get the battery in. But once it is in, you can remove a cover on the bottom of the pistol grip to charge the battery.

I have no experience with the FAMAS, but I've heard they aren't that upgradable.

*edit*
duh, forgot about the P90, yeah +1 to what the next guy said

If you can afford it, buy the G&G F2000 (2010 or whatever). The internals are G&G, the externals are supposed to be fantastic and it'll be unique for a good while. Plus you can find Stanag mags everywhere.

I've heard a lot of great things about the ICS L85. And the spring guide is very widely adjustable (from ~330 FPS to ~400 FPS), meaning it'd fit your needs well.

Agreed. That's another good higher end airsoft bullpup option, but the real steel L85 (a1 and a2) is trash, so I don't buy them.

p90 a bullpup?? I never really considered it one. to me the p90 is a p90, a gun in a class of its own
the mag doesnt stick out the side or front bottom or rear bottom. its just right there on top

The bb/ (or in real steal) bullet feed is behind the trigger. They have just located the mag very nicely on the top. The P90 is an awesome gun. The barrel is the same size as a G36C so even stock it can work in woodland. The gun is one of the shortest out there and is a favorite among CQB players. The version 6 gearbox is easy to work on and very accurate and reliable. The body of the gun is pretty solid (nothing much to break). The whole thing comes apart in a matter of a minute. I had one upgraded P90 shooting about 330 that had a TK twist in it. It was out ranging most DMRs on our field. If your field is not to into milsim you can get the box mag for it and be a support gunner. It is small, fast, light, and powerful (if upgraded correctly).

Really want the F2000 but don't have the money for a G&G and no one has the JLS in stock anymore :(
so now its between the Army L85 and the Cybergun FAMAS. but the FAMAS shoots 380, which is to high for my CQC field limit (350) but I can just get a lower spring. are the chinese companies back? cuz they are cheap :)
