alright so I recently bought a replica eotech void of any company markings so I have a few questions;

1. It came in a black box with a picture of it in a blue background on the front of the box, markings say HD-5 551 then a few boxes for colour and the packing dimensions, it has the military/law enforcement stickers but no other markings, anyone know what brand this is?

2. The dot seems to follow with my eye looking through the glass, as in If I do not have the exact same cheek weld every time, it will be off target, is this typical behavior or did I end up with a major low-ender clone/lemon thing?

Thanks for any help, hopefully I can get this to a point where its actually usable in games.

1. Some chinese replica - who knows...

2. It's a holographic sight - it's supposed to "follow your eye" - it's actually staying on target by compensating as your viewing angle changes.

I wanted to get an EOTech too. Do most of them have the actual holographic lens or are some just red dots?

No eotech clone actually uses the holographic stuff the real one does, thats why they're so much cheaper than the real thing

As said before...

A replica EOTech is just a regular red dot in EOTech drab.

That is all.

The best way I can describe it is you're a single core processor trying to pretend to be a dual core via hyper-threading.

I'm not sure what replicas you've seen, but mine as well as several others that I have seen are holographic sights.

The difference between the replicas and the read deal holosights is that they are very finely tuned to eliminate ghosting and parallax issues, and some have IR settings for night vision setups.

I clump ghetto, gangsta, and homeboy all into the same category. Gangstas generally live in the ghetto, and have a bunch of homeboys.

If there are any parallax issues, that means it isn't holographic. The entire point of the holographic technology is so that there is zero parallax

Show me a clone/replica EOTech that does.

That is incorrect,

"Holographic" refers to the optical configuration by which the recticle is superimposed onto the target plane. Though very different, both red dot and holographic-type sights can have problems with parallax.
