I want a durable good AEG for CQB (340 fps) limit. I want it under 100 dollars. I am just starting to get into airsofting.

Also, can anyone tell me the vest that has nothing on it and is just a strap, just for a chest protector because I'm looking for it but I can't find one.

Also, if AEG aren't good I was looking at spring-shotguns and found a UTG/TSD/DE M3 Multi Shot shotgun (whats the difference between those) and was wondering if those were good?

Also, as a back up I was hoping for a good pistol (under 50 dollars), hopefully a gas blowback double action.

You are not going to find a gas blowback pistol that cheap, the cheapest that is decent is this: http://www.airsoftpo...oducts_id=25014

And if you add this to your cart, you get an extra magazine for an tenth of the price. http://www.airsoftpo...oducts_id=32017

The AEG that is great for cqb is this gun: http://www.airsoftpo...oducts_id=27724

Plus, you get two extra mags for a great price with this: http://www.airsoftpo...oducts_id=33011

It is very compact and small, so great for going around tight corners. I own the pistol, and I have used the mp5k and am looking to buy one. Both are great guns, and will get you started. Also, please clarify what you want in a vest. I don't quite get what you mean.

I guess this might be what you are looking for: http://www.airsoftpo...oducts_id=26983

You can add pouches if you want too, because you might want to put a holster or mp5 mag pouches.

The vest I'm looking for is the vest you get from rentals at XAPB if anyone been there.

Yea, I can't afford a gas pistol I guess. Im not sure if I should get the Mp5k because I was also hoping to do some airsoft battles with my friends in the woods.

I actually have a friend that uses an MP5k with me all the time in wood games, I'll sit back and snipe while he rushes and flanks. It's very useful if you know what to do. If you're new to airsoft, you should just try out the AEG, then gradually upgrade your equipment then get a pistol later on. If you really get interested in airsoft, you can invest in more serious guns, and if you still really like the MP5s, you can even get a Systema version of that.

I've also used a MP5k in the woods. Not the best choice, but it works.

I suggest using the money for the sidearm and add it to the money for the AEG, you will have many more choices available. I'd probably go for a G36c, normal MP5, or a shorter M4, plenty maneuverable, while still having good enough accuracy for woodland.

A spring shotgun is another option. I've used them in the closest we have to CQB here, and they are capable of holding up with AEGs, and lots of fun too. With your budget there are 4 I'd consider:
1. DE M47. Cheap single shot, has enough range it should be effective in CQB, and if you can find a good way to carry it (Scabbard), probably a decent sidearm in woodland. It has a very light pump action, so you can have a decent ROF for a shotgun.
2. DE Tri-Shot (All other brands are rebrands of the DE) Bit more expensive, has around the same range as the M47, but with 3 BBs at a time you have a better chance of a hit. It's a little more bulky, but I've seen people use these as sidearms, and even primaries in woodland.
3. Maruzen CA870. Never used one, but these are supposed to be very accurate single shot shotguns. People use these in woodland without problems, and it is possible to find one in your price range, although it may take a bit to find one in stock.
4. CAW M1014/Echo1 ATS. Unless you get lucky like me, you might have to save a bit more to get this, but it is totally worth it. You may also have to clip the spring to get it shooting under 340 FPS, or maybe you won't. This has great performance, my farthest kill was somewhere between 150-200 feet, and I was having some issues with the hop-up that day. (And Loctite quickly fixed that.)

Like the poster two posts above me said, barrel length doesn't matter that much. Especially if your friends have guns lower than 350 fps or so, or guns that are higher but are not upgraded.

http://www.airsoftpo...oducts_id=26986

And that is more like the vest you are looking for, except it actually looks somewhat cool. You won't be able to feel a thing through that vest.

The Echo 1/JG G36C would be a great choice, save for the fact that it comes shooting from between 350-370 FPS. You could always downgrade the spring to something weaker; an M100 would be the best choice.

Nooo the vest I'm looking for is you have to attach it to your sides and it protects your sides.

As for a vest, as long as you have camo to cover it up so no one knows your wearing it, I made one out of duct tape and felt when I first started. It worked great for protection and it was cheap, so you can spend more on your gun. I know it sounds a little too noobish, but if you're on a budget then it works great.

As for the tri-shotty, if you are a small person you will get tired pretty quick since you are pulling back three springs at once.

Is this it? I think you may be talking about the paintball black vests that have pads on them. I highly de-reccomend those as you will look incredibly stupid. This gives you just as much protection, but actually looks cool and you can attach pouches to it.

Here is my recommendation:
http://www.airsoftpo...oducts_id=28365
or
http://www.airsoftpo...oducts_id=28366
Use code "50KFRENZY" and the total price is $110, easily your best option so far.

Except that the full size mp5 really isn't that "CQBy" compared to the k.

Ok I know that airsplat is a bad site, but these are cheaper than other sites.

http://www.airsplat....PP-BDU-MRPT.htm
Does this bdu come with a jacket and pants? If so it is a great deal for only 30 dollars.

http://www.airsplat....APP-CO-547B.htm
This is also a good deal compared to airsoftgi and evike since it is cheaper. I only shop at airsoftgi+evike+redwolf but airsplat might be good for vests/bdu?

Also for the gun, I am torn, I don't want to get a gun that I'll regret and I want everything including the masks/glove/knee pads/vest/bdu and gun for under 200 dollars. I still don't know which gun to get, but my CQB place only allows the guns to be under 340 fps with 0.25 bbs and requires full face mask, no laser sight, and the gun has to be SEMI, which I think is a bad rule.

Anyways I don't want a vest with like 20 pouches since I'll only be using like 1 or 2 mid cap mags a game and I could just refill it during the rest.

I'm also gonna be airsofting with my friends around the woods or somewhere so I need a gun that'll do good for that but mainly for CQB. I don't want a MP5/bullpup/UMP. I am leaning towards the M4, JG Mk36, and a Cyma Ak. I don't know which one though, they all have their pro's and cons.

M4

Pros

-highly customizable
-looks good
-reload is fast and easy
-rail for grip and sight and flashlight

Cons
-expensive
-overused

G36

Pros
-folding stock
-accuarte
-has a rail
-not many people use it

Con

-wow I can't seem to think of any

AK (Cyma cm028)

Pros
-cheap
-simple
-cool reload

cons
- no rails for sights or foregrip
-reload is cool but is bad since its slow

Ok, $200 for everything... might be doable. Using cheap face masks really sucks, so I'd try and spend more on one. The cheapest one I've seen that is ok is one by JT for $40. Cm.028 is $110, Chest rig $20, and $30 left for mags. If they let you use hi-caps, then just use the stock one and forget the chest rig. I've played games using just 1 MP5 Hi-Cap, and the AK ones hold 3 times as much. If not, then getting mid-caps is more important than BDUs and knee-pads for now.

I'd just save up the extra 50 dollars and buy a jg m4 and a new spring to drop it down in fps, changing out a spring isn't to hard, plenty of guides out there. Also, if you choose to go someone else, you could just put the old spring back in. Also, the m4 is a cheaper platform for getting mags and parts and what not. It's worth it to spend the little extra.

I was thinking of getting the G&G combat machine M4 tan limited edition (comes with battery and charger) all for 155. Btw, can you add a grip on this gun?

So I was thinking of getting this gun or the AK. But you can't really add anything to the AK which makes me steer away from it. Also my cqb place only allows under 340 fps with .2 grams, I was mistaken, not .25. So I would need to degrade the spring for the ak.
