hi guys I tested gun's accuracy yesterday and I found my umarex g36kv shooting too high after I modified it
internals(besdie gearbox):
1.shs m100 spring
2. maple leaf hop up
3.promethus 6.03mm barrel

The bb is shooting way too high from the scope and the backspin is too strong
Am I using too low spring and how can I regain accuracy? Thanks!

Shoot a heavier bb or dial down your hop-up.

I rather use a "nightmare" that shoots like a dream over something that looks like a "dream" but shoots like a nightmare.

Don't fear the gun...fear the one that's wielding it!

Maple Leaf bucking, you are supposed to use heavier ammo.

1. Replace ridiculous Maple Leaf packing with a normal AEG hop-up packing.
2. Clean barrel and re-adjust hop-up.
3. ?????
4. Go blast Newbies at the local field.

buy a guarder bucking 50* ( silicone clear type ) great for low fps .

Maybe 0.28 or 0.3g is ok ( although you will have less ammo )

so if I increase my gun's muzzle velocity to around 1.3j, will a better result be obtained? a-confused.gif

I think if anything, changing to a lower FPS/J would help you reduce overhop using your regular 0.25g BBs. If you instead switch to heavier BBs, then you can try to increase your FPS/J instead.

Thanks guys I putted my stock spring back into my gun.
I tested it with a coca cola can and it shoot right though the bottom of the can.
Do you guys have any idea what is the power? Thanks!

Can test are completely subjective and I would not even hazard a guess.

I go back and forth on the can test. Thing is, within a country and time period, you can test multiple cans from multiple beverages under one brand and find your gun consistent across them. That indicates production consistency of the cans themselves is high. The thing is, over time, between countries, and probably even by region within a country cans are different. So maybe it'll give you a rough idea, but I think its value is far more limited than people think, unless of course you have a chrono next to your can so you can cross check. Basically if you can shoot through both sides and/or the bottom of a free-standing empty coke brand can, your gun isn't under-powered. If you can shoot through the top of the can, your gun is over-powered, for the typical 1.5J chrono that is. Thats about the limit of the can test's usefulness.

3 ways to fix this - raise the front sight, lower the rear sight, or reduce hop up.
