they retail for $480 each, so plus scopes and such the total is well over $1k.

Honestly I don't think you have over 600 bucks into that gun. The rifle itself is 480 and the versapod bipod is 70. The scope, is probably a little less than 120, Its a beautiful rifle I just don't think theres a grand in it. My M40A1 has maybe 700 into it total. about to be 850 lol (new scope and 6.01 barrel)

overall though, nice rifle.

Yeah, I mean, can a Tasco 3-9x 40mm REALLY cost over $500?

also your talking in dollars, so overall every gun mentioned in this thread cost about £10!! (had to be done)

but seriously thats expensive, even in real money.

well.. I have 7 mags so its $370 just in mags, and your post made me sit down and have a look through my e-mail archive..
The top kar98g with a tightbore, new hop-chamber, g&g hop-rubber, bipod, lower ris rail, scope and scopemount and scoperings, cheekrest, original ww2 sling, flipcovers and killflash plus scope extender.. So included the rifle itself it will actually sum up to about $900 so trow in all 7 mags (I can only use one rifle at the time, duh!) and I total at about $1270.. a-wink.gif

bottom rifle is stock with a tanaka zf-41 scope so that one I just $550..

Alright I believe you a-grin.gif I just thought they were 2 stock rifles aside from the obvious extremities. Plus, I didnt know you had 7 mags...Jeez. Why? I just have 1 ten rounder and thats all I need. Beautiful rifles though man. I like them. Not quite Mil-Sim, but great none the less.

Here is a few pics of my Tanaka m700 AICS, the first one is the "Before" and then the current version.

Note the latest photos were taken by a dying digital camera and the action shots were from a video shot using a helmet cam, so quality is not the best. I plan on putting up some quality photos once I upgrade to a nicer camera.

Without any cover in:

Semi urban (ruins) / Snow & Urban (winter) / Evening games / night games

For the rest I use the maruzen or I cover it with a net.

The ghillie below is not for that envoroment, I usually don't wear ghillie in those, is only for color comparision. =P

Korken, I love your rifle!
What else is in the gun?
Is that extern rig similar to an HPA set up?
If so, how much did all of it cost you and how difficult was it?

nice gun!

Review presicion

Prueba 1
madbull 0.40
distancia 52 metros
posicion : tendido
Distancia maxima entre tiro 12 cm
Viento moderado
Temperatura 10 ºC

Prueba 2
We 0.43
distancia 65 metros
posicion : Rodillo en tierra
Distancia maxima entre tiro 14 cm
Viento moderado
Temperatura 10 ºC

ahora estoy bastante satisfecho

thanks from uruguay
