Yeah, if you own 100% silicon oil which is what you should have it will be 100% silicon.

It should list the propellent used, if any. Or is it air-atomized? It doesn't say the type of silicone anywhere on the can?

I've been trying to find alternatives to buying silicone spray online. My last can is running out. The lack of information (or the ability to read it) on chinese spray cans kind of disturbs me and I wonder how pure it really is..

But I too have some "pure" silicone spray left over from molding though it doesn't say 100% and I have not dared to try it.

walmart has some silicone spray in the automotive dept. the can says:

"lubricates, waterproofs, and insulates metal, plastic, rubber, nylon, and wood...contains acetone, heptane, dimethylpolysiloxane, hydrocarbon propellant"

that's pretty much all it says on the can.

I was at Walmart yesterday and I saw some silicon spray in the automotive department also. It was less than $2 so I was going to buy it but I was not sure if this was the right stuff. Does anybody know if it will work? If not is there anywhere else local I can get it?
